Hunt answered all my questions regarding what was wrong with the tree and why it needed to be cut down.  Due to the location of the tree Hunt had to use my neighbor's driveway to perform this job.  There were no issues with this situation.  The workmen showed up on time and cleaned up all tree branches etc.  I would definitely use this company again.

I hired Richard Hunt to trim tree branches for me in the past, so when the top of my neighbor's tree broke off and landed in my yard, I called them for the clean up. For years I had wanted to have a large Maple tree removed so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to get a quote for that service too. One phone call and I set up an appointment for a free estimate.

The Hunts are a family owned business and one of the sons came by and quoted me a price several hundred dollars cheaper than other tree services. We agreed upon a date and the day before everything was confirmed. I did need to pay for a police detail to direct traffic while the Maple tree was removed. Everything went smoothly and the clean up was impeccable. They are such a pleasure to deal with - friendly, professional, prompt and they truly take pride in their work. I highly recommend them and look forward to using their services in the future.

I've used this company for a number of years to do fall and spring cleanups as well as tree work and am always pleased. I had let my yard go for too long so the job was more involved than usual. Rob and two of his workers came and spent about five hours, cleaning, raking, pruning and mulching. They did a great job.

These guys are the best of the best. We've used them before and will use them again.

The work went very well. They are extremely busy so scheduling after they initially came out and removed storm damage in the spring was difficult.

Doug provided the estimate in June. He has timely and pleasant and gave us fairly priced estimate. We scheduled work for late September choosing a date our street is cleaned so it would be clear of cars. Unfortunately a week before the work was to be done Doug called to reschedule. He arrived the morning of our new date on time with his trucks and crew. They did the work quickly and thoroughly and cleaned up well afterwards.

I called Doug about a tree I needed removed. He had done work for me in the past and did a great job. We had moved recently and I was hoping we weren't too far away from his service area. Doug called me back immediately. Unfortunately, we had moved too far away. Doug happily provided me with the name of somebody in my area who could perform the job for me.
Sometimes it feels like it's impossible to get a return call from people. I found it extremely professional that Doug called me back immediately and provided me with an alternative individual to contact.
I would highly recommend you call Doug if you need work done.

The crew was clearly highly skilled and had the tree down in a matter of about 30 minutes. A second crew came later the same day to grind out the stump and clean the entire area. Wonderful! Jeff and Doug Hunt were both extremely nice and truly professional.

The price varies and depends on what they do. They are fairly reasonably priced. They are local and they do our neighbor's yard too. Their punctuality and professionalism are both good. I would use their services in the future too.

Excellent service. We were out of town at the time of service and they called to give us progress reports, ask questions, etc.

I have a fairly big yard (1/2 acre) , and it was a bad winter. I had a lot of branches down, and the yard was a general mess. The Hunts came in and cleaned the whole place up. They took out about two dump trucks worth of leaves and, branches. The had 4-5 guys there for about three hours, The did a fantastic job.

It was difficult because the trees were on two separate properties. He had all the proper licensing to do this type of work. They were less expensive than most and I was very happy with them.

They were excellent. Lots of communication to make sure they were focusing on areas we wanted. Very punctual and thorough. Would highly recommend.

My neighbor had hired them to remove a few of his trees before his new fence could be installed. The day the Hunt Bros were here I asked them if there was any way they could take a few down from our yard, as well, as we realized it was going to be a lot harder to remove the trees once the new fence was in. They came back the next day, squeezing me in between previously booked jobs and an impending rain storm! We didn't get other estimates, so I have no idea how competitive the price was, but we felt it fair since we'd been so lazy about dealing with the trees for years. Two of the trees were on the small, scrubby side, but one was quite tall, on a fence line and overhanging the house and deck. They brought in a big bucket truck and didn't break a thing. The only reason I gave them a "B" for quality is that 2 of the 3 stumps aren't ground down as much as we'd have liked. Other than that they were very professional, courteous and efficient. We would definitely recommend them.

We had one large dead oak tree located between two live oak trees at the very back of our yard, and knew we needed a professional to remove it safely. We received what seemed like a very high estimate from a tree service used by a neighbor. I called the Hunts to get another quote. Mr. Hunt came by to view the job within a few days, called promptly with a quote and gave us several contact phone numbers. His quote was a fraction of the first one ($500 vs. $1,300), although he graciously said that he thought some of the difference was due to the fact that his large equipment was located in our town and didn't have to be moved far. His workers arrived when promised and did a thorough job, didn't damage any of the nearby plantings, and cleaned up after themselves. The clean-up was especially important in our town, where getting rid of yard waste is a hassle. We were very pleased and hope to be able to use the Hunts for other landscaping services.
