Dave Power himself came the next day to work on the estimate. The installation went smoothly due to the four man crew. When my husband noticed a small leak, they came back the next day to fix it with new parts.

Dave is a total professional. He is responsive and fair. I messaged him about a leak originating from our 2nd story bathroom, and then we had a phone discussion. Water was running into our kithen and pooling in our basement. He evaluated the issue the next day and informed me that he would need to come back the following day and get into my kitchen ceiling and kitchen wall to get a proper look. The problem was substantial and Dave thoroughly explained our options. We have a 100+ year old home and our plumbing was faily original. We opted to replace instead of attempting a repair. He removed and replaced the estabrook as well as the stack from the 2nd floor all the into the basement. He also removed mold that he found on the sheetrock covering the plumbing in the kitchen ceiling and wall. He and his crew disposed of everything and were cognizant of our young toddler as well as my pregnant wife during his the process. I will gladly use Dave and his team again in the future.

We recently had a clogged drain and cracked drain pipe. We called Power Plumbing, and Dave got back to us within a half hour. He and another plumber came out that afternoon (exactly at the time they said), and fixed the problem. We're very happy with their responsiveness and the quality of the work. We would definitely use Power Plumbing again, and would recommend them highly.

Joe, Dave, Kev and Rob are an Amazing Team! They saved me twice this year; replaced the leaking water heater, and then replaced the very old and corroded cast iron waste pipes. The response was prompt and they were very efficient. They did the work in a timely manner leaving the basement neat at as a pin. I highly recommend their service!

David is a busy man, nevertheless he kept in contact with us by phone and was able to work us into his schedule He had to replace several parts to correctly fix leak. Luckily, he came equipped with all appropriate parts and equipment (unlike a well-advertised plumber that we previously used and poorly rated). Because it was a minor job we did not call other plumbers to get quotes and check prices, so we cannot say how competitive he was on price. He did, however, do a good quality job fixing the leak, and we would use him again.

I recently used Power Plumbing for the third year in a row and couldnt have been happier. For starters they are very responsive and each time I’ve contacted them, they have come to the house on the same day. Most recently I contacted them with regards to a part that broke on the furnace. Again, they came out on the same day. Dave took the time to explain to me what the issue was, and then went the extra mile to show me howI could manually deal with the problem to save some money. I ultimately decided to make the repair and he had it repaired the same day. They have also helped with a shower faucet issue in the past Not only are they my first call for a plumbing/heating issue, but they are my only call.

The price was what I expected considering the work involved. My time is very limited, so when I hire someone to show up at a certain time and get the job done within a specified time frame, I really need this to be done. David Power and his crew where 100% on time, and completed the job ahead of expectations. Their fee is competitive, and their work is not only done on time, but expertly. I am VERY happy with the results of this hire, and I highly recommend others to hire David Powers as well... that is if you want the job done the way you want it done.

Power Plumbing and Heating was great! We needed a quick turnaround for installation of a gas stove (we transitioned our house from oil to gas). Power Plumbing and Heating was extremely responsive and did a great job of installing our stove. It was a bit more expensive than I was expecting, but I was willing to pay to minimize our time without an oven. I would hire them again.

I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday evening at about 4 pm. It required me to turn off the water main, it was that bad! My usual plumber wasn't available and I didn't know where to turn. I found Power Plumbing online and called. Dave was immediately responsive and here within 40 minutes. He was professional, clearly knowledgeable, accommodating, efficient and fixed the problem 100%. It cost good money because it was a Sunday, but I expected that. I am not sure what the general prices may be, but for the immediate response by Dave on a Sunday evening and his great work, I feel my money was well spent. I would have been stuck going to a hotel without access to water in my home. I am very grateful to Dave and will definitely use him again.

Excellent and prompt service. Arrived on the same day as service requested. Found source of leak in second floor bathroom tub and repaired caulk and tile grout. Replaced broken bathroom faucet. Assessed leak in basement main drain pipe, finding that entire pipe needed to be replaced and performing service the same day, thereby preventing possible major water damage. All areas repaired expertly and work areas left clean and tidy.

Dave and his team of professionals were knowledgeable and skillful. They responded to my problem quickly and presented me with multiple resolutions and made a recommendation that was ultimately the best call. I was in a difficult spot and wasn't sure who to turn to or who I could trust. He and his team won my trust, my referrals and all future plumbing business from me.

Everything went great. Fixed the leak in no time.

Went very well, and I felt it was a fair price because I have a different from normal plumbing set up to work with in my home, but the guy tackled it with ease and was able to diagnose the problem despite the drainage layout.

They came in, serviced the system and in a few hours it was good to go. They were on time and professional and even fixed my shower. I was very pleased.

Great! Super responsive. Sent a message on Saturday, booked the appointment on Sunday, at my door at 8:15 Monday morning, done at 8:45. Very friendly and knowledgeable, easy to work with. Price was what they estimated.

They were very responsive and came within 2 hours to diagnose the problem with the old unit. They were able to install a new water heater 2 days later. Excellent professionalism and quality of work!

I called in the morning and Dave came out within an hour. While evaluating and repair the radiator and it’s connection to the boiler in the basement, he noticed that the water heater was leaking. I was not aware of this and it was fortunate that he was there. Dave took care of the water heater replacement and installation. I would recommend Dave and if I need a plumber in the future I will consider him first.

They dealt directly with the tenant which they had no problem doing that. They were on-time and everybody was happy with their service. I would recommend them.

It was a very difficult situation and they got everything done even though it was much more than what they expected they had to do. I couldn't recommend them more.

Dave was extremely responsive and flexible with regards to scheduling. Dave showed extensive knowledge throughout the process and was careful to ask adequate non-technical questions prior to arriving onsite to ensure he had all the correct materials for the job. He and his crew were professional and performed the job with minimal disruption. Most importantly the work looks like it was put there as part of the original construction of the house and Dave personally walked me through what was done and how it operates. Will definitely keep Power Plumbing and Heating in mind next time we need work.

I was having difficulty getting a plumber to do the repair, so I contacted Angie's List. Power Plumbing arrived within an hour of contacting Angie's List. The two very nice plumbers assessed the job, left to get the supplies they needed, and returned. Power Plumbing enlarged the previous cut-out in the ceiling for better access, and did a good and clean job of repairing the leaking connection. The entire job start to finish was about 2 1/2 hours. When the job was complete I was not given a bill or an invoice, but an amount due for the repair. Not having much choice, I paid the amount which came out to $340./hour. When I contacted the company hours later to question the charge, and to get an itemized bill for what they charged me, they told me the they charged by the job, not by the hour, (I never received an itemized bill or receipt). Perhaps due to my naivety and not asking the question of cost at the onset, because I assumed that like every other plumber I spoke to, I would be given an hourly rate. Because of the exorbitant cost for this job, and this way of doing business, I would not use this company.

Dave Power and Joe Queally of Power Plumbing did a fantastic job for me this year! My first floor apartment had been severely mistreated by addict tenants and needed serious repairs. The guys installed a new sink, disposal and dishwasher in the kitchen and toilet, sink, vanity and shower in the bathroom. Over the years, Dave and the guys have saved the drains from tenants’ habits of throwing anything from razor blade covers to kitty litter down the pipes. Occasionally, they have had to call in other companies for situations beyond their expertise. They have never steered me wrong. With Dave and Joe’s work, and a few other recuperations and improvements, I decided to move into the first floor myself and enjoy it. Every time I load the dishwasher, run it and walk away, I am grateful for the great job that Dave and Power Plumbing have done for me. During the last week when I was apprehensive about pipes freeing during the uncommon cold we experienced, I called and asked advice about the best tactics to avoid freezing. Despite the multitude of calls and emergencies Dave had to tend to, he was kind and helpful to me. He and his company have provided me with peace of mind over the years, and just now with the fear of frozen pipes. I am fortunate to have fantastic plumbers who render excellent service whether they are installing appliances of calming my fears of freezing water.
