John did beautiful work that totally transformed our new kitchen!

John was great to work with. The kitchen backsplash required a significant amount of surface preparation but he knew exactly what to do and factored it into the project timeline. I did subway tile in the kitchen and wood appearance floor tile in the mudroom - two projects of different scope and both came out excellent. Also I echo a previous reviewer - John was very attentive with regards to scheduling which is appreciated.

I had a great experience with John on a major bathroom renovation. He was very busy this year and while I wish he could have come sooner-when he was on my job he gave it his full attention. John is very smart and skilled. He did fantastic meticulous work with the tiling and it looks amazing. He gave good advice when it was confusing about what to do next with the tile design based on my wacky old bathroom. If he said it would look good, it looked good! He was very smart about use of materials--what he estimated I would need was perfect.



In tearing down a wall with a window a leak was discovered and he figured out the source and repaired it and only charged me for materials. He also didn't like how something looked (window trim) and rebuilt it for me. I only have one bathroom, and every night he fixed it so I could shower and this was huge.



The tiles I chose for my floor are difficult to install even though they are on sheets, but John got it done. Communication was good, he would call every night to update on progress and check my preferences about one thing or another.

John was a tireless worker and made it clear that he wanted us to be really happy with the final result.  He truly was always prepared to 'go the extra mile'.  For instance, we were amazed that he volunteered to go to the tile store with us.  He never pushed us to make any particular decisions, but his knowledge and expertise were very helpful and gently offered.  Our experience of John is that he is a kind, honest, polite, reliable hard-worker.  This was not an easy project (an old house), but John gave us the confidence that he could and would see it through to a successful conclusion.  We love our new bathroom!

John Doyle is a tireless worker of inhuman strength who walked up and down many steps many times for two days and never complained. He did a wonderful job on the floor. We are pleased.

Although the finished tile work is acceptable to us, we had to stop contractor mid-way through when we noticed that the grout lines in a corner were not lined up. John agreed to re-do this section of the tile work and this delayed completion of the project.

John is very polite and no-nonsense.  His responses were timely and direct.  He does exactly what he says he will do.  His work was done very well.  He was neat .  The overall experience was exceptionally positive.  I recommend him highly.

It went great.  John is a highly serious and professional individual that takes personal pride in his work and trade.  He is a smart, trust worthy and hard working professional at his craft.  My bathroom and kitchen look fantastic, and he paid attention to detail even when it was costing him extra time to ensure a high quality result.  This job was non-standard due to another tiler messing up, and John made it right.  I really appreciate his effort and skills.

John did an amazing job. He had to rip out the old tile, re-do the ceiling and floor and re-do the sheetrock before he installed the new tile.  He gave me suggestions to improve the space and counseled me about which tile to use on the ceiling and floor.  He also fixed an improperly sloped threshold so that the shower would no longer leak.

I had a floor that had a rug on it and I wanted it tiled. I pulled out the rug but he then found out that the plywood under it wasn't good so he added some kind of cement backer board on the plywood floor and then put down the tile and he did an excellent job. The tile is beautiful.

John was very professional at the onset and through the process.  He would always give us a headsup if he was going to be late (even 10 minutes late). His quote was around the same as another quote we had gotten, but he presented himself well and stood out from the other guy. There was a problem with one of the shower walls and John came up with a sound option compared to others.   He did very good work and kept the floors as clean as possible (layed drop clothes from entrance, up the stairs, down hall into bathroom).  His cleanup was very good except for some wiping down of painted walls next to bath tiles.  Overall we were very pleased with his work. 

John did a great job. He ripped out my old bathroom stuff and redid everything. He was polite, cordial, and knew his stuff. he also wasnt hesitant to give me advice about other projects i was working on. He did such a good job that my mother is going to use him for two of her bathroom remodels.

Excellent.  John is exactly the type of professional you want to hire - his craftsmanship is excellent and he delivered on time and on budget for a very fair price. He also communicated well, left the work area very clean each day and made sure we were able to use the tub during the renovation which was critical as this is our only full bathroom.

We are very happy with the experience. We love the floor. 

He did an excellent job. He was very industrious while he was here. I enjoyed his company. The price was good. The quality was superb. Their professional approach was fine. We called them back once because we had a little thing that was sticking out. He came back and fixed it with no problem at all. He did it with a smile on his face, which was different for a contractor. We would use him again.

I was redoing a bathroom and looking for a good tile person, John was recommended to me by a fellow employee who was very happy with his work. I can see why. John was very professional and worked clean, called when he was suppose to and was meticulous in the work. Not only was the work done right but John is a nice fellow to boot. After John was done my plumber came in to finish some work and he also commented on how nice the floor was installed. I would highly recommend John.

John gave a fair estimate, started and finished the work when he said he would, was pleasant to work with and did a terrific job on our kitchen floor. We will definitely use him again.

Shower looks GREAT! John was great to work with. He always showed up in morning and worked into the evening. The whole job took a week. John put down drop cloths to keep my house from getting too dirty. All the people he brought in to work with( plumber/electrician etc.) were prompt and friendly and everything was well coordinated. No waiting around. Great to work with, would definitely call again if need tile work. I will also be recommending to friends.

Very well, he called before coming each time, and both jobs turned out excellent!

This job went beautifully. He showed up when he said he would and finished it well before Christmas as he said he would. We purchased the tile from a dealer, and John picked up the tile and brought it to our house. He created a drop cloth path from the front door of the house to the bathroom. When he left for the day, each day, there was no evidence (not even any dust) that this project was going on. He has a plumber who he calls upon for the plumbing aspects of the work. John put in extra blocking between the studs for the grab bars, and installed additional blocking where he thought we may want it in the future. John and the plumber were very professional, courteous and a pleasure to have around the house. John is a meticulous craftsman who takes pride in his workmanship. I highly recommend him.

I had a check-up related to my back and it went okay, and I was sort of comfortable around him and the staff was fine.
