He took care of it and did a great job.

I was afraid I would have a terrible time finding someone as all the general contractors I spoke to are booked solid through the year.  A friend in town with a similar quirky, old house suggested Bortolotti.  I read the reviews on Angie's list and called them up.  Alfred was so pleasant and reassuring from that first call all the way through the process.
He came out within 10 days and gave a reasonable price and approach that worked with what our insurance company would pay for.
Within ten days he came to our home with two other professionals.  They were pleasant to have around the house for three days.  They took a very methodical approach from one side of the house to the other the blue boarded all the spots in two days.  Then on the 3rd day, today, they came in and plastered all of the spots.
During the job there were two spots where they had to extend the area to make it work, they were thoughtful in how they explained this to us. They showed us what they were working with and it made sense.
My husband and I just inspected their work and we are so pleased.
These guys were all diligent and took great pride in their workmanship, and pleasant to have around to boot.

The job went very well from start to finish.  Mr. Bortolotti and two others showed up on time and performed the installation thoroughly and professionally.  They were friendly and explained exactly what they did.  Great company.  I highly recommend them.

PAUL AND HIS DAD DO MARVELOUS WORK. WE CALLED WITH SHORT NOTICE BUT HE WAS, OF COURSE, BOOKED SOLID FOR WEEKS. A LAST MINUTE PROBLEM AT A CURRENT BOOKING LEFT HIM WITH HALF A DAY AVAILABLE AND HE CAME BY TO SEE THE SCOPE OF MY PROJECT. HE THEN STAYED AND DID THE WORK RIGHT THEN. THREE PATCHES WERE IN A CATHEDRAL CEILING AND HE WAS GRACIOUS ABOUT TACKLING IT. YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE ANY OF THE HOLES WERE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. BEAUTIFUL. HE'S PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS. WOULD HIRE HIM FOR ANY OTHER PLASTER PROJECT. HE AND HIS DAD ARE REALLY NICE FOLKS.

THEY CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS FOR AN ESTIMATE, BUT I WAS VERY SURPRISED I HAD TO CALL BACK A FEW TIMES TO GET THE QUOTE AND GET THE WORK SCHEDULED. ONCE THEY GOT HERE, THEY WERE AS GREAT AS WHEN USED IN THE PAST. THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP AND DID A GREAT JOB -- NO MESS, NO PLASTER SPLATTERED EVERYWHERE, ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEM... WHICH IS JUST SO NICE!

PROMPT, RESPONSIVE, GOT THE WORK DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. PRICEY, BUT THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB, AND LEFT EVERYTHING CLEAN AFTER THEM. TO NOT FEEL IRRESPONSIBLE I'D HAVE TO TRY TO GET ANOTHER CO TO QUOTE NEXT TIME, BUT ONE SURE BENEFIT WAS THAT THIS WAS HASSLE FREE. HE GAVE ME REFERRALS TO A PAINTER AND AN ELECTRICIAN, AS WELL.

WONDERFUL! THE COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON MY HOME. I WILL REFER THEM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS THAT NEED WORK DONE. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND THEY HAD EXCELLENT CLEAN UP.

PLASTERING IS A MESSY BUSINESS. WITH BORTOLOTTI, YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE MESS DESTROYING YOUR HOME, THEY PROTECT EVERYTHING. ALTHOUGH I MADE WILLINGNESS TO CLEAN UP AND PREVENT DAMAGE AN IMPORTANT CRITERION FOR SELECTING A PLASTERER, I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW WELL THEY DID THEIR JOB AND HOW HARD IT WAS TO TELL THEY HAD EVEN BEEN HERE. I THINK IT WAS A COMBINATION OF (A) LETTING THEM KNOW THEY HAD TO CLEAN UP AND PROTECT THINGS (SEVERAL TIMES) AND (B) THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. THEY EVEN HAVE A GREAT PRICE! A GOOD, HARD WORKING COMPANY THAT IS VERY RESPECTFUL AND TREATS YOUR HOME VERY WELL WHILE DOING EXCELLENT WORK.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP. HAROLD, HIS SON PAUL, EDDIE AND VINNIE WERE WONDERFUL. HAROLD RETURNED MY CALL RIGHT AWAY. HE KNEW THAT I NEEDED THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND WAS ABLE TO MEET MY SCHEDULE. THEY ARRIVED ON-TIME, MOVED THE FURNITURE THAT NEEDED TO BE MOVED AND COMPLETED THE JOB (ALL IN ONE DAY) AND LEFT MY HOUSE IN PERFECT ORDER. IT WAS A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.

EVERYTHING WAS COVERED BEFORE WORK WAS DONE AND THE CLEANUP WAS GREAT. YOU ALMOST WOULD NOT KNOW THEY WERE THERE AFTER THEY LEFT.

DON'T BE SURPRISED IF THEY WON'T DO ANY MORE DEMOLITION WORK. I THINK THIS JOB WAS THE FINAL STRAW!
