Our plow had never operated properly from the time it was installed and was the cause of great irritation.
Steve Wells corrected those problems, transformed it into 'remote' and the plow worked the way it should have when it was new.
We are totally delighted!

Well. There was some time delay in getting in touch with the company, but it is winter and they had many machines to fix with all the snow we've had lately. They came to pick up the blower and they dropped it off too ($50 extra for that service). He repaired the blower and educated me on how such power equipment needed to be cared for and how gasoline works and it's effect on carburetors over time. The machine is fixed and ready for the next snow storm or ready for being idle until next winter.

Most important part was that the work was done according to schedule, and was completed on time.
Work completed early Dec. 2012. Did nothing to the machine until the 2013 blizzard (Feb 9, 2013) and it started right up.
Bill looks high, but mostly for parts, Pickup/Delivery was $50.
Repaired all of my 'fixes', (I bent a pulley and didnt treat the gas, etc)
and explained how to get the best performance going forward.
Most important: use Stabil-brand fuel additive !!!
This motor had bad history of dying after 1/2 hour, but this time it started and ran flawlessly over 2 4-hour sessions.
Started 1st pull when cold, 2nd pull hot, b/c need choke turn-down from 'Run' position.
BTW: Blue Hill Power Equipment was recommended by the local small-engine tech, who was getting out of the snowblower repair business. BHPE is is about 8 miles from my home, and there are 3 other shops closer.
Question to Angie's List admin: why is Home Built year needed, when the repair was done at the shop??
Location and dates are for the Business, not for my home.

On this visit, my lawn mower was not starting. The owner looked at the mower, made some adjustments, explained how water and grit were clogging the fuel stream, and put everything back together. He did not charge me at all! I will definitely return with any mower/trimmer needs that i have in the future. I highly recommend this local business.
