It was awesome. They were very responsive and did a very professional job. They knew how the exhaust worked. They did a very good job in my house.

Have used the services of Bert and his team for past 8 years and for many home projects in that time. Everything from installing air conditioning throughout the apartment, painting( indoor and outdoor) installing fireplace, refinishing floors, plumbing , masonry, electrical and lighting work. I have referred him to many friends and family over the years.
Very reliable, trustworthy, with meticulous attention to detail in his work. I've often had work completed while on vacation without having to worry about home security and with all tidy and clean on my return. Have always had fast response for any home emergency repairs and recently had various work completed before selling my home which was organized and completed very efficiently to accommodate a short time frame prior to our house closing.

They have very competitive pricing which gives good value. Very punctual and good time management - always arriving at the arranged time and completing the task within the expected time frame. A plan was made at the start of the project with a target date of May 1st for completion of the project. Start date was the first week of January. All work was done on time with only a one week delay (finished the 2nd week of May) caused by the unanticipated need to install the steel beams. When we mentioned the overwhelming dust due to the work, the company showed up the next day, a Saturday, to install a dust barrier and zip doors in an effort to make the rest of the house more comfortable. This was done without us asking for it. Company kept us up to date on the project so that there were no surprises including unexpected costs.I am very pleased with the work done by this company. This is the third time I have engaged them for major reconstruction. This is also the third time I have been very, very pleased by their work. Bert Murphy Construction separates itself from other organizations due to its professional, quality work, and reliability. I would use them again without reservation.

I contracted with Bert Murphy to work with the engineering firm (CBI) to document the poor workmanship and damage to the unit so I would have evidence when I got to court.  Bert demolished the existing roof and replaced it and all of the underlying insulation material.  Bert demolished the existing interior walls, doors and floors ruined by the water, and replaced the windows and insulation and rebuilt the walls, doors and floors.  The unit was painted.
With the evidence documented by CBI and Bert, and presented in depositions, I was able to recover from the developer the entire cost of the renovation in a legal settlement.
It was a pleasure to work with Bert.  He was very sensitive to the issue of documenting everything during demolition and working around my engineering firm and my attorney.
All work was fixed bid, completed on time and within budget.  The court found the costs to repair the damages fair and reasonable.
The quality of the work is excellent.  NO further problems with the building since we completed the new roof and interior repairs.

Done extremely well - on time and on budget.  No surprises.  No contention whatsoever.
