RP Homebuilders

We started talking to Russ about our kitchen renovation in the beginning of September, 2017. He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. Over the next couple of months, he never required a deposit, but kept telling us that we needed to make the major purchases (cabinets, countertops, appliances, etc.) before he could say how much his work would cost, or when he could start. By the end of December we purchased everything he asked us to from the vendors he recommended, and when we asked him for a date to start work, he stopped responding to all methods of communication. We waited two months until the cabinets were actually delivered and the boxes took over most of our downstairs before we gave up on him and found another contractor. From what I understand from his recommended vendors, we weren't the only ones he did this to. He never reached out to us at any point to apologize or explain, but he did make sure to remove my negative review on his Facebook page.
