The old asphalt driveway was removed. All the underlying material was removed as well to a depth of over 18 inches and replaced with compacted crushed stone. A beautiful pattern of brick pavers were then hand layed with a cobblestone edging and driveway apron. Goregeous! Also, my walkway to the front door was done at the same time. This was a major job in that my driveway is about 175 ft long. John Nowak really is an artist when it comes to stone work and pavers as well as smaller things like fountains, patios and more. He also moved around some of the existing huge rocks on my property for a more ascetic look overall. Also, he hand engraved my street number into a huge rock at the entrance. Nice touch. He has been in the business for many years and is very knowlegable in most anything to do with outside landscaping, however, stone work is his forte`. Extremely easy to talk too as well as being the most honest and polite person I have ever dealt with. I am 68 and have dealt with a lot of people during my lifetime and John is far above all the rest. What a nice experience for a change! AAA+++
