The counters were installed without incident.
When the sink was installed, they had expected to give us a surprise gift of the polished sink cutout to use as a cutting board, but it wasn't ready yet. Even though they had already been paid, and it wasn't part of the contract, they later drove down the polished cutout and dropped it off, over an hour round trip.
We were very satisfied with their work, but never quite got around to writing up a review. Since it is the holidays, and they really deserve a good review, we finally submitted it. Note that it has been 3 years, and the counters are still doing well. No gaps, or edges out of alignment. So, at least they get a review that says that their installations withstand the test of time.
