The owner came out a couple of days after calling for an estimate, unlike a couple of other contractors. I felt very comfortable with him as he went over what needed to be done and any options. I received his estimate within 2 days, but since his was the first I waited for another which took a while. His estimate was only $200 more than another, so I booked with him. They started the job about a week before their estimate and took a little over two days to complete. A little longer than they expected with the flat roofs, 2 chimneys, and some extra wood trim work. The extra woodwork was only $336, I was expecting more. They did a great job, working, till 7 the first night, and this during a couple of days in the 90's. They cleaned all the debris and except for a very minor communication error I am extremely pleased with their work. Tim Wormer, Jessalin the office manager, and Josh the site manager, all were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Very responsive came out within a week for estimate. Once given the job worked with me on timing asking if our job could be delayed to early fall since we had no active leaks and they were very busy with customers that had severe winter damag. Then remained in contact and came earlier when the timing worked between jobs.

It was a great experience. They are a wonderful company.

Tim was prompt to return phone calls and provide an estimate. The initial work was completed on time. Then when we discovered we had leaking skylights, we called Tim and they were able to fit us in to take care of that as well. The workers were polite, hard working, and did quality work. They cleaned up well. A pleasure to deal with. I would hire On Top Roofing again.

From start to finish I was very pleased with Tim Womer and the folks at On Top Roofing. I originally started the process in Nov. of 2014 but due to other projects and the weather I had to wait until the spring of this year. Tim came himself to give me quotes on price and the scope of the project and to drop off samples. He was available by phone and through email and was patient with our selection process. He gave us options and his own opinions on what would be best for our home and did not pressure us in any way. My friend who is a contractor by trade looked over the quote that Tim gave me and said that it was a very reasonable price (I felt that way as well) for the work being offered. I had 3 roofing companies come in to look at my roof before I selected Tim and On Top and I couldn't have been more satisfied. His crew were prompt and courteous. He himself was onsite daily (multiple time some days) and he and his team cleaned up my home and landscape and had the dumpster out of my yard all within 4 days. I will be having On Top do my garage in the near future as well without question.

Tim provided an excellent assessment for 20+ year-old roof replacement project. Along with the expected repairs, he offered several options to ensure adequate internal air flow as preventative measures for future ice dams/leaks. Right off, I could tell he knew his business and his only concern was the best solution for our situation. The estimate and scheduling were spot on and reliable. Materials and disposal equipment were perfectly coordinated. Communications were always available and responsive. Very professional, and at the same time, very personable. The crew was on time, hard working, and pleasant to be around. They did a great job, answered any questions I had, and made sure they cleaned up every day. And considering the age of the old shingles, and how easily they crumbled, that was no small task. In two days time, they knocked out the 99% of the project. The only snag was running out of ridge vent on the back dormer. So, a couple of the guys came back the following Monday with the last piece, after and already long day, and finished up the project. I couldn't ask for a better team. Thanks (and atta-boys all around).

Tim is highly personable and professional. He came out to give an estimate, then again to talk through the contract with me, then again for a final walk-through. He always responded promptly to emails. Although his estimated cost was almost exactly the same as the two other estimates I got, I chose to go with On Top Roofing because Tim seemed the most knowledgeable and responsive to my particular issues. (We had awful ice dams and leaks this season, and there is one section of roof near the addition which has always been problematic. Tim was the only one who recommended particular measures to improve ventilation, include some very low-cost ones, and he suggested using EPDM membrane on the problem area of the roof, and explained why he thought that would help.) They worked on schedule and the roof looks great. They did leave a few nails on the grounds, but only about ten, and I suspect that is standard. They also replaced a few bits of rotten trim for free. They did forget to clean the gutters, but when I mentioned it, Tim apologized and sent his guys right back to clean the gutters, although it was a holiday. The cost was exactly what was written in the estimate. Also, they did not require a deposit up front. Finally, they offered a 10-year workmanship guarantee, which none of the other companies offered. I would definitely recommend On Top Roofing.

On Top was the last of four companies I interviewed for roofing estimates, and the second lowest in price. Tim Womer was very patient with my checklist of questions (I had done my research beforehand) and seemed well informed on the subject of roofing. In the process of our conversation he identified an attic ventilation problem no one else had noticed and worked with me to find a solution. I'm very sensitive to sales pressure, but there was none from Tim. On the appointed day the On Top crew showed up on time early in the morning and worked like demons. The front of the house was done (old shingles off, new ones on) before they left shortly after noon (there were thunderstorms predicted for the afternoon). They were on time the next morning to finish up. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to hire On Top again, or to recommend them to a friend.

During this past winter the ice-dams on our roof were out of control. Damage from these dams caused damage within our home. I called On Top Roofing when the water began to come through our ceilings on the first floor. I did what I could to break up the ice-dams but at 69 years old it became too much for me. I went straight to Angie's List to find a roofer. I knew I was preparing for a very difficult time getting some one because everyone was having the same problem as I. I found On Top Roofing and called. I was so upset when calling that I was not sure if I had even given my number. It was not long and I received a call from Time, he sent two men to my home within the hour to break through the dams. I was so happy to get this service so quickly knowing that his company must be working day and night to help others. When the weather calmed and the snow almost gone Tim returned to determine what we could do to prevent this from happening again. Thank goodness we did not need a new roof. The repairs and updated materials were what we needed. He also gave good advice for next winter. (We need to purchase a new ladder with a greater reach and a 27 foot roof rake.) When the crew arrived they were very professional and worked non stop. It took one day and just perhaps 1-1/2 hours the following day. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. I am very pleased with Tim, his crew and the great job they did. The cost was on point. I would recommend On Top Roofing to anyone who wants quality work and Professionalism.

They have come here a couple of times. They fixed the leaking.

Crew was home within hours after call made. Crew effectively dealt with the issue giving me much needed peace of mind.

Here's what happened: - Called to get an estimate, the voicemail said to contact them via their website, so I did. - After no call back for approx 1 week, I called and left a message. - They did call back this time, and left me a voicemail - So, I called back once again and left another message - It's been about 1 week since the last message I got from them, so I don't think I'll hear back I have little patience for service providers that don't respond. Done trying.

We had some terrible ice dams that caused leaks through the ceiling in a room in the house after the terrible snow storms in February. The crew arrived as scheduled, an amazing feat, really, considering how messy the roads still were, set to working on our roof immediately. The crew manager took pains to explain to us what he was going to do and why. He also took a photograph of a large pool of water on the roof that was causing the leaks so that we could use it for insurance purposes. The 3-man team worked very quickly and professionally. They were done in 2 hours. The leak stopped after they were done. They did an incredible job on the roof. AND their rates were extremely reasonable, unlike some other roofing companies I spoke with who were taking advantage of the storm situation and jacking up their prices by as much as 3 times their usual rates. I'm definitely recommending them to anyone else who needs snow and ice removal from their roofs.

Tim came out to house to measure and provide me with an estimate. He showed up promptly. He was clearly quite knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. I could tell I was going to get a very thorough job from Tim but was afraid it was going to be expensive too. His written estimate was quite detailed and included all of the items I asked for including the 10 year workmanship guarantee. I got two other estimates and it turned out they were all almost the same price. However, with the 5% Angie's List discount that On Top Roofing provided, Tim's bid was actually lower. The work was done on time and quite well. The crew cleaned up well and I am completely satisfied.

We did find them on Angie's List. We talked about the issues we're having with our roof. He quoted us with around $8000 for the roof replacement. He also gave us info if we wanted to repair portions of the roof. He was very professional and I had a good experience with him.

I didn't get a lot of quotes but I thought their was pretty good.

Apparently they don't need the work but they could at least called us back and declined doing an estimate.

Came to my home to check out the job. Never provided an estimate. Did not respond to phone messages about follow up.

Tim was great. Of all the (many) roofers we talked to, he was the most helpful in coming up with a solution that maintained a consistent look for the roofs, and also was more up to date than the old tar and gravel approach. He didn't seem committed to one particular roofing solution--willing to work with whatever approach made the most sense for our house. His price was very reasonable, and ten year warranty was as good or better than that offered by the other roofers we spoke with. His crew were very nice and efficient, and cleaned up well after themselves. Our roof looks great!

They did a pretty good job. The company struck me as very responsive and attentive to my specific concerns. They did the job according to the schedule we agreed on. They cleaned up after the project. They seemed to be knowledgeable. The price was reasonable. I haven't seen any problems with the roof yet. I have been trying to get hold of them but I haven't heard back. They gave me an estimate for additional work but I am disappointed that I haven't heard from them.

I was very impressed that, given my limited knowledge with roofing etc., there was no push to sell services and repairs that were unnecessary. Thank you for the candid evaluation.

I am very pleased with the workmanship and the quality of the materials. The owner is very conscientious and he does his best to provide good service and make his customers happy. He was very nice to deal with and I would recommend him.

Tim at On Top Roofing was quick to respond to our request for an inspection after we found we had water coming in from around the chimney. While we were initially looking to just have the flashing replaced, my wife and I decided that we were concerned enough about the life left in the plywood that we wanted a roofing company to inspect. On Top Roofing came over and walked us through the integrity of the roof, showed us the delamination happening in the plywood, and presented us with varying options for fixing things: from just fixing the flashing to a complete roof replacement. What was nice was that there was zero pressure on getting the roof overhaul versus just fixing the flashing. On Top was equally willing to do either scenario and informed us that we had a few years left in the roof if we wanted to wait on replacing it. Ultimately we decided that we were more comfortable with replacing the whole roof. We got a formal quote from On Top, which included new plywood, new shingles, new flashing, adding a ridge vent, and clearing a path for the soffit vents, which were plugged by insulation. Tim dropped off shingle samples for us and once we finally decided on them, we scheduled a timeframe for the On Top team to do the work. Due to weather and an issue with their supplier being late on the delivery of the supplies for the work, the work ended up starting a day later than expected, but Tim did let us know about it and why, which wasn't an issue. The team showed up the next day just before 8am and worked pretty much straight through the day and into the evening to finish as much of the job as they could. They ended up getting the entire roof stripped, putting up all the new plywood and shingles and flashing, and only had to come back the next day to put our gutters back up. They cleaned our yard of debris and nails (one week later I still have not found a nail in our yard, and I've been looking) and by the time my wife and I got home after the second day we found no evidence that there had ever been workers there other than our brand new roof. Tim came by that following Saturday to do a walkthrough of what they did, to see what we felt about the job, and to collect payment. All in all, an excellent experience. We would definitely use On Top Roofing again, and actually may to update our gutters to match our new roof.
