Called On top roofing for an estimate, it took several weeks to get back to us, got the estimate and agreed to have the work done. A few guy showed up one day and started working, we were not notified they were coming to work,good thing we were here that day. They did the job and left without ever communicating with us about the work. We did a walk around and discovered that some of the work was not completed. So called the company back and the owner came out to look at the job, he said it would be about another $100. To complete. We were not happy because this was supposed to be in the estimate we agreed on. The workers show up again unannounced and did the job. We then received a bill for $200. More, again this was not what was agreed upon when talking to owner. We were hoping to form a relationship with this company for future work, but that's not going to happen, there was no communication and even with a written contract they will somehow charge you more than agreed on.

Extremely pleased with On Top Roofing. Arrived on time, finished the job quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. Very pleasant people to deal with from Tim and Alise in the office to the workers on the roof. The price was right and the roof looks great!

On Top Roofing did an excellent job. They arrived on time and cleaned up completely before they left. This was the second job they did for me over several years and their workmanship continues to be excellent.

We had a great experience with On Top Roofing. They returned my call for a quote request within one day and had someone out to give an estimate within a couple of days after that. We obtained several estimates, On Top was the only company that actually climbed up on a ladder to really look at the area of concern and where work needed to be done during the estimate. After we received the quote, the work was done within the scheduled time and completed as agreed. I would definitely consider On Top again for future roofing needs.

On Top Roofing was great. Tim came to quote the work and asked what I wanted and offered excellent suggestions. He wanted to vent two bathroom fans out through the roof to reduce the moisture buildup in the attic. No other roofer even mentioned it. He also wanted to replace all drip edges and re-led the chimney. Several others wanted to reuse the exiting drip edges and led. Given all that his price was still very good. The job took two days. His crew was efficient and the roof looks great. There was a supervisor (Mike) on the job the entire time who ensured everything went well. They had one guy who did nothing but clean up constantly. So the yard and surrounding area was always clean. When they left they swept, rakes and picked up everything. Very professional and courteous team in the field and in the office (thanks Kelsey). All this and a 10 year workmanship warranty!!!

Excellent! Great service and they showed up on time to start the job, finished a few hours later, and picked up the old shingles and debris that fell off the roof onto our yard. They even refused payment for the work after completing the job, and told me that the office would email me an invoice. The office did send me a bill and I mailed a check to them the following day.

The major complaint I have is I notified them we had Gutter Helmet installed years back due to a serious bird infestation. I was very concerned over this becoming a problem again. They notified us it was not a problem they said "we deal with Gutter Helmet all the time." They charged me for the removal and installation of the Gutter Helmet (we thought the fee was for Gutter Helmet doing the job). After the completion of the job, birds began immediately nesting in our gutters again. That is no exaggeration. We called them on a few occasions they had someone come out (I assumed was Gutter Helmet) and the problem was not rectified. We sent photos and videos of the birds. The birds have awoken us for a year now during nesting seasons between 4:00 - 5:00 in the morning. They told us they are not a pest control company and have stopped returning calls. In the meantime, I called Gutter Helmet. They indicated they were never contacted or performed the work with our roofing job. They said all roofers know to notify them and now the warranty is no longer valid. They wrote a letter that the company roofed over it and it will cost about $2,400 to repair. I sent a certified letter with the quote and letter from Gutter Helmet and waited a month with no response. They do not want to make this right and this should not be our responsibility. The people who ended up performing the work were sloppy. They did not cover our air conditioners which residue fell in side all of them. There were large black marks on various areas of the house from the roofing shingles coming down which they had to come back and clean off and replaced some broken siding. Now there are areas where it looks shiny on my siding where it was removed. The roof looks nice. However, Gutter Helmet has records after they recfitied the problem they did not hear from us as far as bird pest control complaints for years until now.

On Top Roofing is Top of the Line Roofer. Professional delivery with solid quality! Company was hired to correct the issues caused by a prior roofer whose incompetence has cost me additional thousands in repair. On Top Roofing installed a ridge vent that the prior roofer only placed on the roof, re-flashed the chimney where prior roofer failed to install to match new rook lines, re-surface flat rook where prior roofer ignored. In addition, On Top Roofing was used on apartment buildings to help close up the roof and eliminate a bat problem. On the Top Roofing is the only roofing company to use. It takes a while to get on their schedule, but they show when they say the will and do the job they say they will do. Only hire On the Top!! You will not regret.

The job went well. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were on time, polite, respectful of the property, cleaned up after day one, coordinated perfectly with the dumpster company and getting the necessary permits, and although there were some roofing nails in the grass afterwards that were missed, there were actually fewer than I expected. They said the job would be done in 2 days and it took a day and a half. I would definitely hire them again, but I hope I never have to! :-)

Tim was punctual, professional and clear on what needed to be done, showing me pictures of the hole behind the flashing. They are very busy, so we allowed flexible scheduling that didn't entail a fixed appointment which would have pushed the timeline out. It turns out that opportunistic scheduling allowed the work to proceed much earlier, so that worked out great for us.

First contacted On Top Roofing in early spring after a wind storm rolled back the roof on my two car garage. Tim came and gave me an estimate which was good. Was given references upon request which were generally good. I had a question that was not answered on the estimate so he came out again and said they would do my 1-2 day job in mid July possibly before as it was a small job ($5200. roughly- not small in my book) and they would call a week before. I called them on the 13th of July for an update as I had heard nothing. The secretary eventually found my paperwork and would send out the contract as it had slipped through the cracks. I asked her if it included the issues I had discussed with Tim. She said she would have to speak with him and hinted that it would push out the time line a month or more. I said I didn't believe I should be penalized for their failure to proceed on the paperwork in a timely manner. Received an e-mail that since I was "rude" and no contract had been signed Tim had decided to DECLINE the job. I have wasted 3 1/2 months on them. I would like to know since when is a customer considered "rude" for asking for an update and consideration for a delay that was the company's fault?

It was a great service, yes. I have not done the project yet but he did come to my house and gave me a nice estimate, and went through all the details. 

I liked the best, the details they gave me and the time they spent with me. I liked how they knew about the project in detail. They spent time answering my questions. It was very friendly and pleasant. The estimate was very detailed. I got a copy of everything, like the details of the project. It was very detailed.

We are very happy with the workmanship on the roof. All employees were pleasant to deal with. I hired them for the new roof, as they had removed ice dams for me the previous year and I was impressed. They did not let me down!
