A few weeks ago, Landry Mechanical replaced both of our heating and air conditioning zones with new, high-efficiency units. This is a big project and they were really great to work with from initial estimate all the way through completion of the project. The Landry team both in the office and on the job site was great with coordination and answered all of our questions throughout the process. All of the crew that came to our were pleasant and professional. They were respectful of our home and made sure to clean up after each day. They were each passionate and enthusiastic about their their work and took pride in doing a good job wich gave us confidence. We especially enjoyed working with Jason, the team leader, and appreciated his willingness to work with us, answer questions and keep us updated on progress. Ray came and really showed his expertise. He raised the flange and even replaced all the hardware inside the toilet to keep it from running. Then he walked my husband around the house and inspected our furnace and gave some really good recommendations. We received better service than we could have hoped for and at a great price.

I have had extremely positive experiences with Landry Mechanical Plumbing and HVAC. Ray and his men installed a mini-split air conditioning system a few years ago, serviced it this year, and more recently, Ray came up to assess a plumbing issue. In terms of the mini-split installation and service, I couldn’t ask for better. Ray and his men were professional, personable and did a great job. I am so happy that I had the system installed. In terms of the plumbing issue (I thought I had a plumbing leak), Ray quickly came up to assess the situation, determined that I did not have a leak, and didn’t even charge me for the visit. Not only that, he also did a quick check of the antifreeze level in my mini-split system and carried a dehumidifier I had just received from Amazon down to my basement for me. I cannot say enough good things about Ray, his employees or his business.

The landry team was excellent. Ray came out for a initial visit to look at my central ac, why it was not blowing cold air anymore. He came out on a tuesday and diagnosed that the ac was going and a repair may not be the right fix for a 14 year old ac. (There are underlying bigger issues) His price to replace the condensor and retro all the pipe work for the new freon was great. 4700. I got a great brand ac and he explained all the efficiency rating and was so nice about the fact I didnt know much about what needed to happen. He also told me he was a little booked and couldn't do it till the following thursday, I understood and agreed. I have a family and clearly he took into consideration our comfort, because he showed up on friday morning and completed the job in 5 hours. Unbelievable work to his employee that came out as well. Excellent Service. Extremely skilled team. Professional and very friendly. Tidied up the work site daily. Recommended a better boiler for the same price. When Ray came to do the estimate he checked the size of each radiator in the house and asked about future plans to size boiler correctly. Neatest installation I've ever seen. He used all cast iron pipe and planned for future expansion in the future by adding 2 capped pipes in the basement. He also learned about steam heat by the best expert in the field. I had two quotes completed for the installation of air conditioning in my home and chose to hire Landry Mechanical because he offered more in terms of the system than did the installer who gave me the first quote.  Ray Landry, the business owner, impressed me in that he responded to my phone message in less than an hour and made a plan to come to my house to talk about options and provide me a quote within the week.  He went over options and I chose the ductless mini-split system over central air.  Ray and the men who work for him were personable, professional and reliable.  They arrived on time as scheduled and had the system installed in two days.  Ray informed me of available rebates and helped with paperwork required for rebates.  All in all, it was a very good experience.  I am enjoying the new system which works really well.   I am enjoying staying cool during this very hot summer and I will use the system in the winter to supplement my heating system in the winter.   I highly recommend Landry Mechanical.  I will be calling them for general servicing of the unit in the future to keep it running at its best.

Ray the owner worked with me on several permutations for the size of this project.  Ray was very responsive and communicative through email and phone.  Ray took the time to ensure all of my questions were answered.  He worked with my wife and I on the location of both the indoor and outdoor  Mitsubishi units.  Payment was 50% upon signing the contact and the remainder upon completion.  Ray and his crew of 2 showed up on time each of the three days required to complete the project.  The crew were very polite and professional.  All of the workmanship was top notch and the work areas cleaned daily and our belongs protected from dust and debris.  Besides the mechanical/plumbing this project also required electrical work to be performed, all of this was handled by Ray.  Landry also took care of all permits and coordinating the post installation inspections.
At the end of the installation, Ray took time to explain to my wife and I how to use the remote controls and describe the multiple options and functions.  These remotes are surprising complex.  Ray even spent at least an hour helping me fill out paper work for rebates on both the mini splits and water heater.  These rebates amounted to over $4,200.00!!

They were chosen by a general contractor and did reasonable quality work and were reasonably available. The architect criticized their layout of the plumbing underneath two sinks, which compromised the design of the vanity since Landry didn't concentrate the obstructions (so all the drawers had to be custom-made to different depths to avoid hitting stuff).

Arrived on time, removal and installation was accomplished in less than one day as promised. Very, very professional job. They were well prepared, energetic and efficient, very responsible, professional, and polite. Complete installation, and removal was done in less time than we expected. Called back to follow up, very conscientious owner. I'm very pleased. Would definitely use them again.

From quote to project completion, Ray was an absolute professional. He walked my wife and I through the options for financing and rebates with Mass Save, evaluated our project, and made his suggestions based on what we needed to achieve. In the end, Ray installed a high quality Bosch Combination Boiler/DWH and even arranged for our old equipment to be removed. The project

We contacted Ray at the beginning of the year when we decided to switch our house over from oil to natural gas.  Ray did a great job all the way from initial consultations, guidance on when to start talking to the gas company, and coordinating the various trades involved in the project (electricians, riggers, oil tank removal, inspectors, chimney repair, etc).  He was professional & thorough all the way, did not cut any corners, and at a very fair price for the work performed.  I would absolutely recommend Ray Landry for anyone in need of HVAC and/or Plumbing services.  A+.
