Springs that assist with opening and closing the recliner were broken. Springing under the two most heavily used seats seemed weakened. Recliner 'way out of warranty, and the manufacturer (Berkline) has closed their business. Referred to Johnson's by the store (Rotman's , Worcester) we bought the furniture from. From the first phone call to Johnson's through the actual repair, they provided excellent service, understanding the problems, asking clearly for a bit more detail, setting up the appointment, showing up on time, identifying a couple of other small repairs needed (loosened bolts), completing and explaining the repairs, all for the very satisfactory estimated cost. Not only do the recliners open easily, the springing is back to excellent "feel" and comfort.
