The team he sent was very professional and easy to work with and definitely experienced.. They worked every day until the job was done and also took my feedback into consideration over a couple rounds of final walkthroughs as the project was nearing completion and completed all the details and changes I asked for. Would 100% work with them again for any painting job.

The crew tries; the owner tries. The bad:  - The crew started sanding the old house (built in the 1930s) apparently, this is against the town law; you need certified HEPA equipment and a town agreement to sand. I am a dumb owner; I thought they knew what they were doing until a painter from another street told us it is illegal. The crew broke the auto-retracting water hose reel, then blamed my wife (considering that she is the most careful person and used that reel for 10 years). Kudos! They tried to fix it, but buying the wrong part and attaching it to the wrong place did not work, as what was needed was a special order part. Arguing with the owner seemed pointless. The paint job is decent, but my overall experience with them is mediocre because of the above.

As a long-time home owner who has hired many contractors over the past 43 years and as a detail oriented guy, I can say (unequivocally) that the crew at Gold Painting is second to NONE: punctual, meticulous, efficient, polite, eager to please and highly skilled. Tony and his brother, Rui, Nelci and his son, Yuriel, along with Sylvano, Hector and Milton completed power-washing, scraping, priming and top-coating the front of our barn & the street side of the house in 2.5 days. Their work was so exceptional that I hired them for a second project: prepping and painting the driveway facing side of the house, which they completed in just over two days. The guys appeared promptly at 8am on the final day, worked through lunch and were finished by mid-afternoon. Painting the porch decking was not specified in the proposal but when I asked, Tony (without hesitation) put Nelci and Milton on the task, which they completed quickly and expertly. I could not be more pleased with the results...on both projects. You may solicit multiple bids for your painting project (as I did), but you will not find a more skilled, conscientious, thorough and efficient company than Gold Painting.
