"I am writting in response to the the unfair review recieved by Home Advisor from Glenn. The initial contact and agreement for the pricing of the sprinkler job was decided upon between Glenn and I for the amount of 250.00 dollars. This was prior to my extention of a 50.00 disount thus bringing the said amount down to 200.00 dollars. The job included the repair of 6 sprinklers and a hose bibb. This job was completed with in 2 days. Glenn contacted me the next day stating there was a leak in the valve box. Thevalve box was only used to test the function of the sprinklers. This was not part of the intital job. Being that customer satisfaction and attention to detail is paramount i sent Johnny back to the job site to investigate the issue. This was done at no additional cost to the customer. Johnny spent the better part of 6 hours trying to locate the cause of the leak and what he discovered was the house had been extended at some point over water lines which included a slab of cement closely bordered by a pool. This was not part of the original sprinkler job. When Johnny communicated this to me we realized this would be a very labor intensive and time consuming project. I asked Johnny to have Glenn give me a call if he wanted to discuss moving forward. Glenn never contacted me. The amount Glenn paid for the initial sprinkler job was 300.00. The reason the amount differed from original price was due to problems we ran in to replacing the 6 sprinklers. Glenn agreed to the ending amout which is made clear by the signed check he gave me. At no point did Glenn ever contact me regarding any of the grievences stated in his poor review. Had he extended the common courtesy of communicating his dissatisfaction prior to the review we would have done our best to correct the issue. The only point at which i realized Glenn was displeased was when he cancelled the check thus leaving me to repay 300.00 to the entity that cashed the check. (My hope is that you will investigate this situation and that Glenn isnt allowed to revoke payment for any jobs completed by future home advisor professionals.) Thank you James"
