Ted instantly diagnosed the problem (thermostat) and replaced it.  He is reasonable, funny, and just a great guy.  We would definitely use him again.

Ted J. Bilicki (TJB) responded promptly to messages left with his answering service. Over the phone on a Sunday, he diagnosed our problem as a bad fan. He advised us that he didn't have a replacement on his truck and we would need to wait until Monday for him to obtain it from his supplier. True to his word, he arrived with the part at 1 PM on Monday, and within one hour it was installed and our fridge was back in operation. There was only one hitch: he needed our help to snap one cosmetic part back into place. Ted is a friendly chap with long experience who seems fair, honest and responsible. We paid $120 for labor (including procurement of the part and other minimal windshield time) and $86 plus tax for the fan. The latter can be found for as little as $26.30 online, although prices around $40-50 are more typical. We do realize that a substantial markup is appropriate for a part that is made available immediately, and behind whose operation the installer stands. We probably would choose Ted again, especially if the job was straightforward and didn't require unusual agility or endurance.

He was awesome and fabulous. He came out immediately and the same day I called. He was prepared with the parts and fixed it right away. He was totally nice and professional. Everything about the visit was awesome.

TJB Appliance Service

I called TJB Appliance Service, and left a message on his service. He called me back within a half hour or less, he had a couple others ahead of me so he got here within 2 or 3 hours later and fixed my oven, it only took him about a half hour. He was quick, cleaned up afterwards, very nice and did a great job.

It went very well. He was very prompt and had great follow up. He did the work very quickly and cleaned up after himself. He did the worked exactly as I needed.

TJB arrived and diagnosed problem and gave solution almost instantly. DId not require any action on his part, and he didn't try to create a problem that didn't exist, for which I was thankful. He was available on cell phone for follow up.

Our washing machine was leaking water all over our laundry room. Ted dismantled the washer and determined that the cost to repair the washer would be much more than the cost of a brand new washer. He clearly explained the problem with our machine and recommended that we trash the machine and get a new one. We really appreciated his honest assessment. He was very responsive over the phone and scheduled a visit very quickly (within a few days).
