The service was adequate and the installers were pleasant. After a scheduling problem to remove the old carpet, they told me one date then scheduled the removal for a day I had already told them I was unavailable. The installation of the new carpet was fine until It was time to pay the last installment on the job. I had an Angie's List coupon which they put on this site for $75 off all jobs over $1500. I had tried to use it when I made my deposit but was told it would be dealt with in the final payment. The installer got the owner on the phone when I presented the coupon and I was told that my job had 'special pricing' and that the coupon could not be honored. This was the first time I had heard of any special pricing. I tried to press my case but it fell on deaf ears. Mr Fotopoulos had no intention of honoring the coupon.
I think this is not only wrong but short sighted. Mr. Fotopoulos destroyed the good will and trust I had in him not only from the reviews but his ratings with Angie's list, for $75. I am redoing my bath this spring and I definitely won't be shopping The Flooring Source.

"(member name removed) received excellent service directly by me and my expert staff. She made a purchase on an advertised special that can't be combined with any other offers. Should the coupon be presented on the day of purchase the same explanation would have been given. Instead the coupon was presented when the job was completed and payment was due. We are disappointed that (member name removed) is not a happy customer. We strive for excellence and that is our goal for as long as we are in business. In the spirit of Christmas we are willing to give her $100.00 back to make her happy . We will also extend a one hour massage to Elements in Middleton with our compliments. We wish her and her family a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year."

Great. Each of the three projects ended up looking great. Steve was very responsive to our needs and the needs our young family. The installers were friendly and took pride in their work. Steve the owner was available throughout the process, from the estimate to the install. I will use him again for any thing flooring related..

Steve (the owner) came to the house and took accurate measurements of the bedrooms where the carpet was being replaced and other rooms that may be done in the future. Once the carpet that was ordered arrived, the installation date was set promptly. The crew of three workers was punctual and professional and cleaned up completely after themselves including the removal and disposal of the old carpet.

The owner was my salesman and he came to our house immediately to look at what we needed. He had the work done within a few days. We were very pleased. The installers were polite, prompt and quick. We were totally satisfied. Their price was very fair.

The experience was very positive from start to finish. The owner came to my house and did a comprehensive estimate of the project. He was courteous and extremely knowledegable, and provided valuable guidance as I made my decisions. The price was fair and we agreed to proceed. His workers arrived on schedule and were very courteous and professional. They showed respect for my things and for my need to work at home while they worked on the floors. They were extremely hard-working men who put in long days. They were cheerful and thoughtful throughout. Even when they encountered unexpected problems (such as an uneven substrate) they showed resourcefulness and patience. My floors are absolutely beautiful.

They worked quickly and thoughtfully. They replaced the wall edging around the floor as well, using material that is easier for us to maintain and looks better. Their installer owns dogs, so he was sensitive to what we needed for grout, etc. - given that we have two dogs who drool and get very muddy paws. The kitchen and bath floors look beautiful. And when we went to the store to begin the process the staff helped us quickly hone in on the type of products we should consider - since the choices are overwhelming.

Steve was very responsive by email, which was great for me given the nature of my job. He responded to my inquiry for an estimate within an hour. He came by a couple days later with samples and was very thorough and knowledgeable about the products. No pressure and very easy going. We picked our shade and agreed on price. He promised the rug would be ready within one week, which it was. About 10 days later his crew came by and installed. They were done in hours and the rugs came out great. Highly recommended and would use again.

They came when we asked, they were very polite. Steve came with them when they first started. That night my husband ripped the floor when moving the fridge. I called Steve first thing the next morning. He came down within an hour to fix it. When they got through, I couldn't find where it was ripped.
