It went beautifully!!  James and his crew did it over a two day period with great efficiency and cleanliness... we hardly knew that they did work on our house since there was no sign of their work except for the new windows.  My husband dealt with James and was impressed with his prices, knowledge, professionalism and promptness.

These were very expensive, top of the line sliding doors, and it turned out the installers had never done them before.  They were clearly confused and argued among themselves, took the doors in and out a few times, apparently broke something in the sliding mechanism, though about a month later they came and fixed it.
They tried to charge us extra for replacing a rotten bottom support, even though it was clearly part of the framing that was supposed to be part of the job.  In the end they backed down on that.
They left the house very dusty, did not sand the joint compound they applied and also got it all over the bare wood trim.  The bottom edges of the doors were not sande down or scraped either.   They argued with us about having to do things that anyone else would consider standard.  In the end we were sick of arguing and will just be cleaning that stuff up ourselves.
We had much less trouble with Pella.  For what we paid I expected a lot better.

I will use them again and I would not hesitate to call them.  I would not bother to tell anybody else.  I had a contractor who installed some Marvin Windows when I put an addition to the house, that is how I found them.
