I recently engaged Skyway Exteriors to replace the roof shingles on our house in South Kingstown, RI in preparation for the installation of solar panels on the roof. Segundo (Tony), the owner, quoted a fair price and got the job done quickly. I really appreciated his attention to detail. We have several dormers and he noticed that the existing transitions between the dormer siding and the roof had been poorly done and that the siding shingles were wicking up water from the roof. He suggested a better way to handle these transitions using trim boards with flashing and drip caps. Although it seemed like this was the most tedious part of the job and was very time consuming, he was determined get this stuff done right regardless of the time needed. I would definitely recommend Skyway Exteriors for any roofing project.

* Excellent communication * Quality work * Good price Excellent contracting experience. I messaged Segundo (Tony) on Yelp after a roof leak led to a steady drip of water into an upstairs bedroom. He responded within a few hours and was here the next morning to take a look. He went up on the roof to look at things (all the other contractors I spoke with didn't do this) and brought me up onto the flatter first story roof to explain his assessment while showing me the problems he identified. He was patient and explained things thoroughly. I was surprised he stayed so long for an unpaid visit but I imagine this is a successful business strategy as it allows him to build rapport with his customers. He went so far as to even identify the color of the shingles on my roof so that he would be ready to buy them assuming I hired him. He knew other contractors would be coming to provide competing quotes, but he seemed unbothered as he was confident that the high quality of his work would ensure he got the job. I was impressed. He provided me with a professional quote later that week with images illustrating the issues and the proposed work. We signed a clearly laid out contract on the work. A couple weeks later he and his crew came by to do the job. They used an app called company cam to document their work during the day with pictures so that I could easily review their progress. Very professional! Observing their work, Segundo and his team seem like skillful craftsmen. They finished that day and left behind no mess. Truly a pleasure working with Segundo and his team.

Skyway Exteriors is an amazing company. They came and fixed parts of my roof that were rotting and leaking in 1 day. Reasonably priced too. Tony and his company are the guys you want to fix your roof.

Tony showed up on time and replaced leaking flashing on two vent pipes on my roof. Quality of work was excellent and he provided pictures of repair in process and looked for any other issues while on my roof. Communication with Tony from Skyway was a refreshing change, he is very prompt to get back to you in a timely manner. I will be calling him again in the future for sure.
