G.S. Redlon & Sons, Inc. is a family-owned and operated excavating contractor business that was established in 1950 by George S. Redlon. His son Paul M. Redlon took over the business after his passing in 1977. Paul carried on the family name and the virtues of hard work, loyalty and trust. Currently employed by the business are Paul’s sons, George S. Redlon, Michael P. Redlon and daughter Stacey A. Redlon. Being an excavating contractor tends to be an unappreciated job, since we are usually done and gone before the first nail is driven. After a new roadway is paved, everyone tends to forget all the hard work and planning beforehand. G.S. Redlon & Sons, Inc. offers our customers a variety of services, from commercial to residential. From the first call I made, I was impressed. I spoke with Mike who came down later that same day to look over the job I described in order to give me an estimate. I received his estimate the following day which was fair and reasonable. I gave him the go ahead and he scheduled the job for the following week. Steve, the foreman and his crew came on the scheduled day and proceeded to do the job. I wish there were enough words to describe how happy I am with the job they did. They were professional, courteous and let me know exactly what was happening. It was obvious to me from the get-go that Steve was an expert with the equipment and his crew worked hard as well. They cleaned up when they were finished. I am so glad I contacted G. S. Redlon for this task. I would highly recommend this company! It is so refreshing to deal with a company that is so professional and trustworthy.
