Work went quick and easy, and there were no signs of bats after the work was completed.

Rob came in, immediately recognized the bat species and likely entry points. The attics was sealed and one-way doors put in, and that immediately fixed the problem. They problem was fixed right the first time, and I would highly recommend Bat Guys.

I cannot say enough about the thorough job Rob did today. I have a contemporary cape with lots of angles on the roof line. I was skeptical that he would even be able to get access to the soffit on one side of the house. What I though was a bird problem turned out to be a bat problem as well. I honestly believe that Rob did this repair as if he was working on his own home. Honesty, integrity, and hard work. What else can you want from a contractor?

Everything went well. They were very responsive when we called, they arrived on time for the appointment, and they were quite knowledgeable. Furthermore, they completed the work ahead of schedule and did a good job with the repairs.

Matt knows his craft. If you have pests in your attic or signs of mice, Matt is the guy you want to help keep them out of your home. During a home inspection we learned that the house we were considering purchasing was infested with bats in the attic. Matt assessed the situation from inside and outside the home. We also made arrangements for him to mouse proof the home. The bat proofing came with a three year warranty. The mouse proofing came with a two year warranty. Matt arrived at the home at around 9AM and started working immediately. He started with the bat proofing and made his way around every square inch of the roof. He placed one way gates in the spots he determined were access points. He also sealed any spaces which were large enough to allow the bats entry. Next, Matt went around the entire perimeter of the home and the garage. He climbed under the deck, made his way in hard to reach spaces. In fact, he was able to find a mouse entry point in a hard to reach space behind a 100 gallon propane tank. He uses a sealant and chicken wire to prevent the mice from getting back in. He then set traps along the perimeter of the basement. Matt spent more than 12 hours on the property. I was impressed by the quality of his work. You have to give the bats time to leave the attic. I called Matt back to my home later in the summer to check the gates prior to having my attic reinsulated. I had a section of the roof replaced as well and wanted to make sure that his work had not been undone. Unfortunately, it had. Matt, replaced a gate and sealed up a couple of additional spots for no charge and fortunately before the attic was reinsulated. As a new home owner I was very happy to have come across Matt. Since he lives close to my home, he was able provide me with about 5 service providers, providing a description of their services and how he knows them. We ended up finding our pool guy through Matt. Also, during our conversation about my upcoming projects, I had mentioned that I needed to pick up an extension ladder. Matt said that he had a stack of ladders that his wife wanted him to thin out. He gave me and dropped off a 22' extension ladder. This is going above an beyond. As another example, I mentioned to Matt that I had been cleaning out the gutters on my home, but I was unable to reach a couple of sections of the house with the ladder I had. While he was checking the bat gates, he also cleaned the leaves out of the gutters in these sections. Again, this was a tremendous help and greatly appreciated. I've been very pleased with Matt and I know that he will stand behind his work. I know there have been a couple of reviews which note that they did not receive a call back. For the most part, The Bat Guys is a one man operation. He has a busy season and considering that he put in more than 12 hours in a single day at my house, I know it is difficult for him to manage the demand when the demand is high. This is by no way a reflection on the quality of his work.

The company's owner came out to my house to mouse proof my garage and roof. He did a very thorough job and even painted the aluminum brackets that he installed on the bottom section of the garage door. It has been over 2 weeks and we have not seen any mice in the traps we placed in our attic.

They took the babies and then they had to come back to get the mother on another night. The raccoon had punched a 1 1/2 foot hole in my roof. They had to come out a couple of times to trap the mother raccoon. They put a trap on my roof to get her and they put a temporary patch on the hole in the roof when they were finished. I would use them in the future if needed.

The service was excellent, from the initial contact to the end of the of the job. They had to access the attic in one the bedrooms, the job was done so careful, that no cleaning had to be done after they were finish.

Very good, came out to asses the problem, and came out to do my roof. I haven't had any bat problems since they came out.

Mike came out to our house and located a colony of bats in our chimney. Somehow, a few had gotten from the chimney into the main part of the house. He put on a bat door and said the bats could leave but not get back in and that we might see another bat or two in the house in the next week and that would be the end of it. That night we saw bats leaving the chimney and it did not look like they could get back in. However, five or six bats came in to the main part of the house that night. I chased them out and hoped that would be it. However, the same thing happened the next night. I trapped them and called Mike for help. He came, said they weren't getting back in, must have been leftovers or ones too small to get out the bat door and squeezed through whatever hole there was into the house. That was the worse day, but there were still another eight or so in the house over the next week and another one several weeks later. That time he came out again and rechecked and didn't find any more signs of infestation and that was the last one we saw. Overall, they were professional, responded quickly even after having been paid, and did resolve the problem. My one issue, and it's pretty big, is that the bats who couldn't get out the bat door all came into the house. This was about 15 or so, mostly over the course of a week, when we were told it would be either none or a few.

They promptly responded to our request for an estimate and arrived on time on the scheduled service date. I have not seen any evidence of bats since they installed the vents. However, they informed us that they would be back 10 days after installing the vents to ensure that the bats were gone, but it was actually over a month before they returned, and we had to call to request that they return on several occasions. They did not, however, charge us until they returned and verified that the bats were gone. My bat-phobic mother was coming to visit, which was the only reason for the concern about the timing of their return. They also guaranteed that our home would be bat-free for 3 years. The gentleman I dealt with was very nice and profession. Overall, this was a postitive experience.

The guy came and surveyed the extent of the damage. He suggested a chimney cap, a one-way exit strategy for the bats to leave the attic, and said he would replace the insulation. He installed the cone for the bat removal, sealed off all of their entrances, replaced the soiled insulation, and installed the chimney cap. I think this took approximately 3 visits. We were thrilled with their work and haven't had a problem since.

I like bats, but I just didn’t want them inside my house. I called Batguys because they don’t exterminate bats, but only get them out of the house. I knew that Batguys knew that bats were good. They were really nice, and I was happy with their service.

We had been getting bats in our bed room for years. On average we would wake in the middle of the night to a bat flying around once a month. We called the Batguys and they came the next day to inspect the house. After a thorough inspection (inside and out) they determined that we didn't have any bat colonies in the house and that there were w couple of possible small holes that were allowing them to enter. They said that they would be able to do the job within a few days. When I returned from work the same day I discovered that the job was done. They sealed the possible entry poiints and installed a one-way door to allow any existing bats to leave. Its been 2 months now and we haven't had another bat in the house!

I called BatGuys after finding a bat in my bedroom. Matt made an appointment within about a week. He arrived 5 minutes late, and apologized immediately for his lateness! He was very professional, courteous, and informative. He seemed to be quite knowledgeable about bats and was able to explain how long they had been present, and how serious the problem was. He planned to return to install a one way door for the bats to exit through, and returned to do so exactly as planned. They also sealed the exterior of the house to prevent any bats re-entering. They planned to return in 2 weeks to remove the 1 way exit, but it was more like 4 weeks. By then it didn't matter because the bats were gone. We haven't had any problems since, and they give a 3 year warranty on bats in the house! I was very pleased and would definitely use BatGuys again.
