P & L Tile and Marble

We had a new master bathroom constructed in a 100 year old home. We met with Paul Longo and discussed our needs and Ideas. We had an idea for the shower surround, but didn't have an idea for the floor. Paul drew up a plan that incorporated all of our wishes. We wanted to use some marble in the tub and shower area, but still keep it low maintance but have a look of sophistication. He designed the surround, using 3X6" subway tile, and accented by trimming the inside of our high transom window with carrera marble, as well as a shelf the length of the shower, tiled with the same marble. He then recommended a 12X12 tile, with a pattern inlay using the marble as a border with a clipped inlay. The plan looked amazing. He gave us a very reasonable quote as well as a time line for the installation .He sent us to a wonderful showroom, and we were quite pleased with the many choices and price points. After we purchased our tile, Paul gave us a date to begin. He called to confirm the start date and arrived as promised. He began by confirming the lay-out once he had the measurements on the wall. Same with the floor. In 4 days, our bathroom was finished. The finished look far surpassed our expectations. The shower and tub area looked like something out of a magazine! The floor looked like an expensive area rug with the multi-pattern and inlays! It had a polished, elegant look that we only dreamt of. We found Paul to be very professional. He called and gave us a start-finish date and arrived, on time, as promised. His ideas were tasteful as well as artistic. He completed the job on time and left the area sparkling clean. He removed all excess trash so we could just move in. I would recommend Paul Longo to anyone looking for a reasonable, professional and tastefully finished tile job. We loved his work so much, we have asked him to do a tumbled marble backsplash in our remodeled kitchen.
