About us
Climate Design Systems, originally founded in 1946 under the name of Haverhill Sheet Metal, is a full-service heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality contractor. We are locally owned and managed by some of the most experienced HVAC specialists in the Northeast. Climate Design Systems is a division of Merrimack Valley Corp., a recognized leader in heating, air conditioning and mechanical contracting in the Northeast. Both companies share a 24,000 square foot facility located in Methuen and serve the Merrimack Valley, Southern New Hampshire and Greater Boston regions. We always take the time to educate our clients on guidelines, new and old, that need to be followed. As a green company, we are concerned with preserving our environment and inform our clients of local and federal funding available when they install systems that are energy efficient. Our Design Build Division always takes into consideration rebates from local utilities when designing mechanical systems. All of our engineers and technicians are fully certified and trained. We have a staff of 150+ employees and maintain a fleet of 75 digitally-dispatched service vehicles equipped with the parts needed for a majority of repairs. Our staff keeps up with the latest in heating and air conditioning technology. We live in a wonderful place, but New England's weather can be tough. We know how to keep your heating or cooling system operating at peak efficiency in this harsh climate. We offer a range of service plans to meet your needs. "In response to [member's name removed]review. I do show services performed in October of 2014 but there was no charge. I do see that there was an installation of a system in 2009 and an evaporator coil needed to be replaced in July 2014. Please feel free to contact me to discuss as I see no service since October of 2104. Please ask for Mary Tarpy, Branch Manager."
Technician STEVEN VOTTA arrived at the arranged time - with a nice smile! He was very pleasant and professional during the entire time, and freely offered information to me about my heating system. He provided a thorough check of my furnace and tested it as well. At the end of the approx. 45 min service he went over the results, indicating potential problems - but telling me they were unlikely events/needs of replacement in the near future - and went over all the and quot;numbersand quot;/results he came up with by doing the check-up. This company always provides only the best service at a reasonable price. It's too bad they have to come all the way to Lynn from Methuen to help me out, but at least Steven is from a local town so I don't feel too bad using their service. They are great!
The new furnace was installed in a few days (once the finances were worked out) and we spent the rest of the winter comfy and cozy.
Since they were very professional, courteous and quick we are bringing them back in this week for an estimate to replace our central air unit.
