MELROSE ANIMAL CLINIC

I have been going to the Melrose animal clinic for almost thirteen years and never have I been disappointed. From the time my two dogs were born I have taken them to the vets for various ailments and vaccines as well as general exams , and all the staff has been professional. 4 months ago I had to euthanize my dog pretty much after hours and the staff went out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible in that difficult time. Yesterday I took my dog to the vets and the system they have in place during the coronavirus crisis is amazing. It was very comforting and I did not feel at risk at anytime. I highly recommend Melrose animal clinic.

The price could have been a little cheaper. She is friendly and caring about what I would expect. Everything that I gotten with my dog in the past 14 months which is his total age has been there. They are the closest vet and I heard good reviews.

They are always very helpful when diagnosing and they are not pushy with any products or anything like that.

We have three cats, all of whom needed checkups. Our first fellow is very very afraid of the vet's office but they treated him kindly and swiftly, so he didn't need to be there longer than necessary. Our littlest girl followed just yesterday, again the vet's staff brought out the best in her so that she isn't afraid of the vet's office at all. We have an upcoming visit for our elderly girl, and I expect the same kind treatment for her. Also, years ago, they treated our first cat's extreme injury with burn packs (which Angell Memorial didn't think of) and he recovered swiftly and lived with us for another eighteen years.

They definitely pushed some additional services we didn't need at that point in time. They're friendly. They know what they're doing. I would say do your homework before you go. They were on time.

They've been helpful and professional every time I've gone in.

Helped us get rid of some ear mites. Everything went well. A little pricey, but they had excellent service and we were very happy.

Dr. Shah saw both of our cats at once for their regular check-ups. One of our cats is absolutely terrible at the vet, but the team couldn't have been more patient. Dr. Shah was thorough, answered a bunch of questions, was gentle, and really thoughtful in her recommendations. I don't think she could have done a better job.
They got their regular shots, teeth looked at, etc. It had been well over a year since they had been to the vet so they needed the full workup. Dr. Shah asked lots of questions about them and their behavior and appeared to take thorough notes. We will definitely keep going to her for our cats.

They are very nice and good at this clinic. However, each time I go I am outraged at the price. I have used vets on the South Shore that were much less expensive. Maybe they charge the going rate for the North Shore, but I'm going to keep looking!

We've used this vet clinic for over two years for our two cats. Annually, we have regular check-ups and our male cat has a chronic paw inflammation problem, so we average about $250 per year in visits. Our male cat once needed a paw biopsy; that year we spent another $450 for the procedure. Overall we're pleased with this clinic. The staff is very nice and Dr. Silverman is friendly with us and gentle with our pets. I think their prices are a little high but not enough to merit a change.

We used them for quite a while now. There's another vet that's local and cheaper but he's the kind that relates better to the animals than to the owners. Melrose Animal Hospital has several doctors they're all pleasant to deal with and there is always one vet available.

I've been using Melrose Animal Clinic for 15 years. They have always been terrific. They are also very humane and caring. In the past, they have been informative and helpful with difficult decisions I have had to make.
