This was the third time I've used them. They are local and do a good job. Unfortunately, they always take me late - once by 20 minutes - even though I had an appointment each time.
The equipment and facility is very clean and they open the tools right in front of you. They could do a much better job of exfoliating and buffing the skin on my feet. I always need to buff my feet again a few days later because the skin is much rougher than it was before the pedicure. The quality of the nail polish was good overall and lasted a long time.

Going for a pedicure is something I do to relax and to have help with removing dry skin and shaping my toenails. Those are both things that are difficult for me because I feel too ticklish when I try to use a pumice stone. I also find it difficult to get a good angle for cutting/shaping my toes. I like the setting of Gloss - it's easy to find parking on the street and the inside feels clean and modern. They don't have massage chairs but that's fine with me because I never really liked them. The seats are comfortable and after the pedicure you sit in a stool along a and quot;barand quot; that has the drying stations built in. I never feel crowded and it never feels too loud there. They usually offer you a water or drink. At my second visit, the technician didn't talk to me much at all and she didn't offer me a drink. I could have asked but I had only been once before so I wasn't sure if it was policy or if she would understand me or what. Now that I feel more familiar with the procedure and layout, I'd ask for a drink if I needed one instead of waiting to see if they'd ask. My only other complaint is something that I'm only starting to notice now that I've visited a few times -- the website has detailed descriptions of what each service includes and how long it takes. What I've noticed though is that different technicians follow different styles and practices, and you never know if you're going to get a good massage or just a quick rub. One technician had longish-pointy nails. She was wearing gloves during most of the pedicure but her nails seemed to get in her way. She couldn't do much in terms of massaging or rubbing my legs because of her nails. The pedicure itself turned out fine, but I did chose and quot;Band quot; for effectiveness of treatment since I think it would be better if the services were more consistent, regardless of who is performing them. That being said, I will definitely go back because I like how easy it is to book the appointments. They send text message reminders too. The only thing I'll change is that I'll be more proactive about figuring out who is working with me and then make a point to book with that same person. That will be a better way to make sure that I have a consistent, good treatment. I am giving them a high score because the important elements are all in place -- they are prompt, clean, easy to book, and the pedicure lasts at least two weeks. Those are all important factors for me, so I will continue to go there. They have a bunch of different services and I think I will try something new soon to see how I like the other offerings.

Very nice salon - modern and sleek design feels a bit urban, which is welcome in the suburbs. My nail technician was efficient and pleasant. Other clients were having foot massages which looked tempting. Best feature was online booking ahead of time - so easy! I'll be back when I want to treat myself to a nice, pampering pedicure.

My experience at GLOSS was GREAT. I first found this company when on the internet looking for a reputable place near my home. This place had many reviews and ALL positive. I made an appointment immediatly after looking at website.
PROS- online booking, text and email reminders, easy to get to and parking , very clean environment, no clutter ( anywhere), USE of AUTOCLAVE to clean instruments, great customers service , greeted upon entering, assistance with choosing a color, offerred beverage, always made sure i was comfortable. Technician attentive, variety colors to choose, uses new gloves on each client ( sad i have to mention this but we all know what i'm referring to). Technicians priority is to their client in front of them not texting or talking to coworkers in their foreign language. Prices are competative, I can't say enough about this place. A must to experience yourself and you will never go anywhere else.

CONS- Wish I found them sooner. Would have liked more of a foot/ leg / hand / forarm massage for pedicure/manicure,

I would tell others that they should go there as they are the best in the area. They are very clean. They are always friendly and helpful. I can understand them.

They are very prompt. The salon is very clean. They people that work there are very nice and friendly. They do a very good. They have online appointment booking.
