TERRIBLE. The reason we wanted covers was to protect the baby (soon to be a toddler) from getting burned if he touched the radiators. Prior to placing the order, 3 people in my family asked Marty specifically whether the radiator covers would get hot. His reply was "no they will only get warm". This is not the case. When the heat comes on the covers get extremely hot to the touch. We called and let him know this. His response was unacceptable. He stated that "they don't get hot, they get warm" and that he puts them in day care centers and schools and that he has been in business for 40 yrs. We told him that we stopped the check and that we would like him to pick up the covers and refund our money. He began to yell and said that "he will see us in small claims court". The next day he left a message saying to call him and he would make arrangements to pick up the covers and that he would bring a cashiers check for the deposit. We called to make arrangements but he apparently changed his mind stating that “there were costs involved” and “of course they get hot” and that he was not going to come and he will take us to court. Today we received a notice that he filed a suit in small claims court.

These covers are beautiful! The rooms look so much better with them now. We got the vertical louver covers, and they look like furniture. So much better than the old unsightly covers they are covering up! One is low to the ground, and you can even sit on it. Marty really knows his stuff--gave us tons of tips on heating our house more efficiently. Was very pleasant, prompt, professional. We have two radiators left to cover and will be calling him soon!

Went great and plan to have Marty come back out to replace 2 other old covers soon.

They are very sturdy (you can sit on them) and they fit extremely well.  The finishing is white enamel paint, also very well done, much better than I could have done if I had bought unfinished ones. All in all I am very satisfied with them and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.  They took a while to be delivered (a few weeks?) but worth the wait - great quality & value.   This price was maybe a bit higher than some, especially the unfinished ones, but the product was excellent.  When I researched, I believe I saw other enclosures for as much or more money too.

Great, arrived on time, fit perfectly, looks great.

We needed radiator covers for the unsightly radiators in our older house. The radiators are on the outside walls of the house under the windows. The sills on the windows have an overhang that make it difficult to install the premade covers, therefore, we needed custom made and they are expensive. After doing some research on our own, we went to Angie's List and called Marty from AAA Radiator Covers. He came the next day with samples of covers and gave us a price that was very reasonable considering that they were not only custom made but also came painted to match the trim color in the house. He promised delivery within 4-6 weeks. Even with the busy Christmas season, they were actually delivered at the 4 week time frame and they look great! They look like pieces of furniture and the paint matches perfectly! Marty was so easy to work with.

We called Marty of AAA Radiator Enclosures of Melrose, MA on 10/19/12 to give us a quote for radiator covers. He came at the agreed upon time and was professional and courteous to us as he measured the radiators and explained everything to us - what the covers looked like, how they would be put, maintenance, etc. He gave us a quote which was better than some of the other ones we had received - both local and non-local. He told us it would take about 4 to 6 weeks for us to get the covers.
We were pleasantly surprised when he called us on 11/4/2012 to tell us the covers were ready. We asked him if he could the same day to install them and he agreed. He arrived promptly and installed them and told us how to remove them if we needed to. He also told us how to take care of them, especially the covers in the bathrooms. The covers are very aesthetically pleasing and have made a big difference already in terms of heat dispersion in the rooms.
One additional thing. The radiator in one room was leaking and I had unsucessfully tried to loosen the radiator to wrap some plumbing tape around the joint to stop the leaking. Marty offered to help and with his help we were able to loosen the joint, wrap some tape around the joint, and reattach the radiator. I am happy to say that the leak has stopped. Without Marty's help we would probably have had to call a plumber.
Needless to say, we are very happy with the services provided by Marty and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking to install radiator covers.

Easy to get in touch with owner of AAA Radiator Enclosures and arrange for a time to take measurements of our radiators. Once the radiator covers were ready, they were delivered and installed very quickly. A contractor who came to give us an estimate on other work commented on what good quality the radiator covers were. We are very happy with the final product.

Everything went very smoothly and the enclosures are solidly built and look great. They fit perfectly around the radiators. It was extremely helpful and convenient that Marty from AAA was available to take the measurements himself -- I would definitely have screwed up the unique cuts for the pipes. He was also able to come later in the evening after work which really helped us for scheduling. The price seemed reasonable (about $250 per enclosure, more for a large one) for these custom made permanent pieces of furniture, but we never had an occasion to compare prices to anything. He estimated about 3 weeks start to finish and he was right on time.

Marty was a pleasure to work with. He came and took all measurements on a Saturday and then delivered the finished enclosures approximately 2 weeks later. They look great!
