About us
Visions Tattoo, Piercing and Art Gallery’s full-service tattoo and piercing studio is a unique combination of top tattoo artists and piercers plus an original art gallery all under one vintage Victorian roof in the Boston suburb of Medway, MA. We are located approximately 40 minutes Southwest of Boston, 30 minutes East of Worcester and 35 minutes South of Providence, RI. The Visions experience is like no other in New England; our professional, thoughtful artists will work with you and your ideas to craft a totally unique work of true body art. Visions was created in 2004 and is owned by renowned tattoo artist, Canman & skilled piercer Angela Cannistraro. Both artists have served formal apprenticeships and merged their arts and experiences to form Visions. Each Visions artist is licensed with the Medway Health Department and certified in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens. Canman is a member of APT (Alliance for Professional Tattooists), and Angela is a member of APP (Association of Professional Piercers). Fusing body art with various artistic mediums and styles in an art gallery setting, we offer custom tattooing and designs by Canman, Ariel Robinson, and Craig Prentiss with specialization in many styles. Professional body piercing is performed by Nicholas Adams and Angela Cannistraro who attended the Basic & Advanced Fakir Body Piercing Intensives. We offer a variety of piercings in a unique atmosphere with styles ranging from basic earlobe piercings to adult-only piercings; all the way to single point piercings and everything in between! We pride ourselves on upholding the highest standards of aseptic techniques and safety. Located just outside of Boston in Medway, MA, we are easily accessible from Natick, Framingham and Worcester too! Jewelry Shop Visions exclusively offers the finest in gold jewelry from Body Visions LA with genuine and semi precious stones in all of our 18k solid Gold. We also carry a large variety of Steel, Titanium, Organics, Glass and Stone plugs from industry leaders such as Anatometal, Industrial Strength, Tawapa, Maya, Gorilla Glass, Glasswear Studios, and many more. We offer the highest quality jewelry for our industry. If we don't have it in stock, we can custom order anything you desire. Piercings not for you? Visions also carries a large assortment of hand crafted jewelry including custom designed necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and glass rings. Also available are Stainless Steel bracelets from Italy. Internally threaded, these bracelets are durable and skillfully crafted enabling the wearer to create their own unique piece of jewelry that will compliment any outfit. We encourage you to call the studio for an appointment but we do offer walk-ins on a first come first served basis. Please keep in mind that we take our last client 1/2 hour prior to closing each day.
