SMS was very professional and very trustworthy.  I would highly recommend them for mold remediation.

SMS did a great job remediating the mold in our attic. They explained what was needed to remove the mold in layman’s terms. Their price was very reasonable, they were punctual, and very professional. The clean up was great. Overall it was a very positive experience. I would hire them again.

Steve conducted a thorough review of the house and sent his team to do the work.  The team was very respectful and clean.  They only did the minimum demolition required and were surgical with their work which I believe saved us money in the long term.  We have heard horror stories from other providers who take everything apart and leave a mess.  It took us a while to get our final bill, but we were pleased with the service and pricing.

After my home inspector found mold in the house I was purchasing, on the advice of my realtor I had Steve come out for a mold inspection.  He told me he would charge me $185 to come inspect the home.  My distinct impression was that he was predisposed to NOT find mold so I would buy the house (my realtor wanted to close the deal and I suspect she asked him to make it seem as if there were no issues, although I will admit I have no actual evidence that this was the case).  Anyway, he came, did what seemed to me to be an absolutely minimal investigation (30 seconds maybe?) before he declared that what the home inspector found was not mold and that he didn't see any.  I then tried to ask him questions about bathrooms that the inspector felt had mold and he did agree they should be ventilated.   Mostly he wanted to chat with the two realtors that were there and did not offer me helpful advice.  I paid him on the spot even though I was very upset with his service and asked that he send me something estimating the cost to install ventilation in the bathroom and that he recommended it.  He said he would. Instead, he ignored me, and never responded to my E-mail asking him to send the report.  I therefore was unable to ask the seller for concessions because I never had an estimate in writing.  It was the one thing I paid him to come out to do.
I have never written a review like this but my experience with Steve Timpany was so bad that I wanted to warn others not to do business with his company SMS Indoor.
