Knights Landscaping

They were here September of 2015.  It cost $300. 

It started fairly well, outside of a delay due to it being too hot to work.  Our steps were torn apart as part of the quote, so we were without access to the front of our house for awhile.  But once the work got under way, it was looking pretty good, as Bob had described.  However, as time went on and complications arose, the company just seemed to want to get the job over with and was not concerned about quality or even finishing the job properly.  At the end, a lousy railing was slapped up which looked ugly and cement was splattered all over the nice new stones in an effort to fill some gaps.  The cement can't be cleaned off, and the railing is attrocious.The company did not glue down the steps, so they are just loose stones.  They said they would come back to do this the following year since the stones may settle.  They did settle a bit, and one of the steps was wobbly, an unsafe situation.  When contacted the following year to finish gluing the steps and fix the wobble, Bob was hesitant and asked for more money to finish the job.  He seemed to agree to fix it anyway, but when a week later he had not come by I contacted him, and I was very irate.  He responded poorly to my legitimate concerns and was very unprofessional.  He demanded money to finish the job after that conversation, but I wasn't going to waste any more time or money on his services.  Now I need to pay someone to finish the work and cleanup the mess he left.  I cannot recommend strongly enough against using this company.  It was overall a very bad experience and a waste of time and money.

They did not follow directions that were communicated multiple times in person and over the phone.

The work was sloppy, and did not meet my requirements.
They skimped on seed, and did not grade properly. I had to reapply seed, and regrade areas that were poorly done.
I would not recommend them, as the entire experience was poor.
