Wicked Smart Movers

From my first call to jay from wicked smart movers to the final piece was moved into my house was excellent! Very responsive to my calls and the 3 men who moved us were professional and definitely knew what they were doing.

Their prices were excellent, very competitive. Their guys are very efficient. They are fast but they took very good care with our stuff and our furniture and everything. They are really good people. They are so professional and you feel confident with them.

They are fabulous and they have always been excellent.

They were very careful with our stuff and pointed out any pre-existing damage to items before moving them, which was a much appreciated (and smart) thing to do.
OH, and BTW: these guys work FAST!

The experience went very well. No time was wasted, they were very expedient. They wrapped my pictures in plastic wrap to protect them. They were patient and professional through out the day. They arrived a little later then anticipated,(maybe 15-20mins) but they called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way.I would definitely recommend this company, and use them again in the future.They also offered to put the bedroom furniture together. They helped put our living room furniture together.

WOW! Wow, wow, wow. This was the most amazing moving experience--I would absolutely hire these guys again and again. Jay, in the office, was prompt and professional, answered every question and always responded to my emails right on time. On the day of the move, we had 4 guys ("they look strong", said my 9 year old on her way to camp) who worked tirelessly in unbelievable heat and humidity--out from a 2nd and 3rd floor and back into another. Nary a complaint as they just climbed and carried and lifted and hauled, 2 full huge trucks full! In the end, it cost 1/2 what another company had quoted, and we were thrilled. Hire these guys. You won't be sorry.

After about a week of packing, moving, and driving from Chattanooga, TN, my husband and I were too exhausted to deal with the unloading process. We made some calls to find out if help could be hired, even though we had moved using a rental truck. We were delighted to find Jay at Wicked Smart, because he found ways to work with us, even with 1-day notice. We set a time for the next morning, but there was some miscommunication between us and our new landlord, and we weren't able to get into the apartment when we had planned. Miraculously (as it seemed to us!) Wicked Smart was able to work around our schedule, even though it involved last-minute changes. Jim and John, took great care of us, and our stuff was moved in within an hour! They were professional and good-natured, and we will definitely be hiring them for the next move. Thanks for making the end of our move so worry-free, Wicked Smart!!

I emailed the company and received a call back less than 10 minutes later. I spoke with Jay and we talked about scheduling the time on pretty short notice. He was prompt getting me a quote and responding to my questions via email. The two-person crew showed up right on time and stayed for 3 hours. They were excellent to work with very efficient. I had them moving things from one place to another and back again at times trying to see where items would look best and they were happy to do so. They also helped my client consolidate things in his storage space.

They were good. I spent around $200. The price was reasonable. It was a great experience. The guy showed up on time. He was a nice guy. He went that extra mile to get the furniture inside my house, when I was having a problem with the same. I will use this company again.

Fairly well. They were helpful and responsive, and called to warn when it was possible they would be late, even when they were able to be on time in the end. I already recommended them to a friend that is moving.

The movers arrived almost on time--about ten minutes behind. They were ready to go immediately and started by loading up boxes into the back of the van. They then started with the larger furniture items. They took awhile trying to get our couch and loveseat set through the doors of the old apartment--about 30 minutes--and scraped some of the paint off the door in the process. When we got to the new place things went smoothly, they were unloaded in a little over an hour. I mentioned the scraped paint to them and they took $60 off our bill to go towards repairing it. They charged us the 4 hour minimum minus the $60. They did forget to deduct the $150 deposit I had given them a couple of weeks earlier, but I contacted Jay about it and the next day he walked the cash over to me, very promptly, and was very apologetic. I was really happy with them and am glad there are moving companies out there like Wicked Smart Movers that keep costs down by choosing not to own their own van. They are the perfect mix between a highly commercialized, expensive moving company and three guys hired off the street for cheap. They guys were all friendly and efficient. They even took apart our bed and put it back together for us. A+!

I rented the appliance dolly and Wicked Smart Movers provided one mover to do the heavy lifting while I drove and assisted. I expect to use them again in September when I move to my new house in Ashmont.

Communication was excellent, showed up on time, work performed quickly, efficiently, carefully and inexpensively. I couldn't be happier.

It went great. They were responsive to our initial request and they provided us with all of the relevant information via email. On moving day, they arrived exactly when they were supposed to. It did require two trips, which was not unexpected. The only negative was that we still had to make a few trips on our own the next day to get some of the stuff that did not fit-if they had the next sized truck it may have worked. But even with that, it still went really well. We paid cash at the end of the day and tipped the movers. Their price was great for all that they did.

Two young men showed up exactly on time. We hired them for the two-hour minimum, and they completed everything thing we wanted them to do 20 minutes early. Most impressive--they discovered a $100 bill under the mattress of the bed that needed moving and gave it to us, though we didn't see it until they gave it to us. Our house is small and crowded, and the bed was wedged tightly in a study behind a desk and some filing cabinets and being moved through a tight hallway. They did it without a scratch, and also get tall bookshelves out of a packed and messy basement through a twisting staircase and up into the tight study. Overall, they were just excellent. The price above was not what we were charged, but includes our tip.

Very well. They were prompt and professional. The job took several more hours than expected and they didn't complain or leave it unfinished.

I have used them before to move me into this apartment. The crew was 45 minutes late. Once they got there, they got right to work. They are professional and hard workers. Jay (the owner) is very professional as well. He is also very responsive. Every email I sent was replied to within 24 hours.

I contacted Jay via email about a week before the move - we communicated primarily through email. I sent him a $250 check as a deposit which he did not cash - I paid the bill in full in cash on move day. The guys arrived on time at 9:00 AM - they were funny, well-organized, extremely hard-working, and very efficient. After a quick walk-through to assess the job, they loaded the 14' truck with all of the boxes and most of the furniture in roughly 2 hours. We drove to Medford where they unloaded the truck in about the 3 hours, then returned to Winchester where they loaded the rest of the furniture in about 45 minutes, drove back to Medford and quickly unloaded the truck. They were good-humored and a pleasure to be around. Excellent job - I'd recommend them highly. Because the company doesn't own their own trucks, the cost was significantly lower, yet they were extremely careful of my belongings and didn't break anything. Awesome!
