All aspects of their customer service was great from the person coming to take a look, getting a quote and getting the fence installed. Everyone was responsive and showed up when they said they would. Was initially told I would need to wait 6 weeks to get the fence installed, but they had a cancellation and were able to do the install two weeks after deposit was sent. Team that installed the fence was able to install the fence in a couple of hours and came back two days later to install the gate. Just like they said. Would hire again!

Replaced 170 feet of cedar stockade fencing. Work was scheduled 6 weeks after initial contact. Very responsive to requests to correct small problems afterwards.

McDonough Fence did a great job installing 120 linear feet of vinyl fencing in my background. The job was difficult due to the rocky terrain but the installers did a great job. Highly recommend .

McDonough Fence did a great job. They gave me a quick and reasonable quote. I had a specific date by which I wanted to get the project done, and they were able to accommodate me. They referred me to a stump grinder which was necessary before the project started. Quality of the work was essentially perfect. I would hire them again.

Once again W.J. McDonough did not disappoint. I needed to replace three cedar fence posts on a six foot high cedar fence that they installed for me ~13 years ago. I requested that the new posts be pressure treated wood but the crew brought cedar posts...The foreman called Kevin and he arrived with the pressure treated posts within 30 minutes. The work went smoothly and I'm relieved that my fence is stronger now with the new posts. Thank you W.J. McDonough!

It went well and very similar to the other good reviews posted here. I wanted the fence professionally painted by its installer and that's what I got (the other ~5 contractors I contacted did not offer painting of their fences and a couple even scorned the idea). Cole McDonough handled the sales/planning thoroughly. He had no problem answering all my questions and I didn't have to repeat everything we agreed on to the guys who did the install. The several small teams that did the work all showed up when promised in trucks labelled W J McDonough Fence (no mystery subs / unlabeled vehicles). The fence is hard up against the property line and has several custom jogs, a couple hops over an old tree trunk and some roots and short run over some blacktop -- all handled with ease. The work took two weeks end to end, mostly due to weather delays and paint drying. McDonough Fence didn't walk on water -- they cut one post too short after installing it -- but they recovered just fine on that one mistake (reinstalled another post). My life would go a lot smoother if I could count on all the contractors who work on my house to conduct their business like McDonough Fence.

It was a small job so it took awhile for them to come but when they did they did an excellent job and efficiently. Got down to business and completed job in short order. It was quite reasonable cost-wise.

We hired W J McDonough Fence Co to install a privacy fence that would enclose our yard, with the main goal being to keep our dogs in the yard. From the beginning, these folks were great to deal with. The estimate was prompt and reasonable, and we were scheduled for the work fairly quickly. When it came to the installation day, the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. It was a great group of guys, who were attentive to issues of both design and function, with particular emphasis on our need to make sure that the dogs could not escape. In addition, the owners came by to inspect and oversee, and were also very particular and exacting to make any last-minute adjustments and to get the fence just right. At all times, they were pleasant and helpful to deal with. We would absolutely recommend this company.

WJ McDonough installed a beautiful white fence in our front yard. The fence sets off the house very well. The crew was professional and exceeded our expectations. They completed the work on time and did it right at a very reasonable price.

The work went well. A couple of things needed extra attention due a gigantic tree, stones that kept rolling over from neighbor's and to my uneven yard. Jack sent another crew to work on the problem. They did and after that fence was installed beautifully. The fence looks amazing. The workers cleaned after themselves being very careful with my little garden area.

It went very well. We got a very quick estimate. It was the busy season so I was told upfront there would be a 6-8 week wait. The job was done within that time period. In one day, the fence was installed as we wanted, and it's very high quality sturdy and attractive- clearly better than some of the other fences you see around. Staff were responsive and communication was good. Would certainly hire again.

Neighbors have all commented on how nice the fence looks. The lumber used initially for the gates was splintered, but they replaced the gates without any problem. I called a few times to follow up on the production schedule as we had a firm deadline, but overall the team was polite, professional and met our needs. Nice work.

Excellent, clear quote provided and proceeded. Job completed, as was outside didn't need to be there. Excellent work done, left everything tidy and as it should be and the gates work perfectly.

Excellent communication throughout, they actually we able to perform the job 2 weeks early than originally quoted. Very happy with my fence and the quality of work, will certainly use them again in the future.

Great! Professional interaction throughout project. On site crew kept a clean work site and did a great job (3 full days). Wasn't cheap. But quality and service were excellent.

Excellent. Christian and two other workers showed up at 7:30 and were all done by 12:30. They left the area clean and were very professional. Fence came out great and I would hire them again.
