Honest, fair, affordable.  What else can you ask for?

Gus at Volsar was recommended by a trusted friend about 7 yrs ago. He is wonderful, prices are fair, he runs a great business. Doesn't matter if it's been a month or a year since your last visit, Gus remembers you.

sI have been using Bolsar for many years. I heard of them online about their honesty and at that time I was also living a few miles from them, so it was also very convenient. A few year back they replaced the timing belt and all the other needed parts and the price, work, and professionalism was excellent. Later on, I moved away from the area (about 20 miles from them) but I still use Bolsar for my car repairs even though is no longer convenient. It's great to know that the guy in charge is honest and the repairs will be done correctly. In fact I trust them so much that every time I go there I tell them to just look around to see if they see any other problem.Gus the owner is a great and very personable guy.

I have 24 years in the automotive business, most of my time was as a service manager. Thank god I don't do it any more. I know how hard it is to find an honest repair shop. My daughter was stranded in Medford/Boston area. I had a pretty good idea what was wrong with the vehicle. I live 2 hours away and had to trust they would be honest. They were more than honest. In a half an hour they were able to find a bad connection on the starter. ( sadly to many shops out there would have taken advantage of the situation and padded the bill.) They were honest, fast and treated my daughter well. They will be taking care of her car for as long as she is in the area. I highly recommend this shop to anyone. When I visit her I will have top in and thank them in person.

Overall it was a good experience. They seem to know what they are doing and and try to explain everything to make sure that you are comfortable. The amount of time they take seems to be appropriate for the type of repair as well. The only drawbacks are price that is on the low end of what dealers would change per hour and that your better off scheduling an appointment as they often get booked up.

We spent $150 on the job. We have been using them for years now and they have been very good. They are very honest. They don’t make us do unnecessary repairs. We will use them again in the future.

They have been excellent. I have been very pleased.

Gus, the owner, is very friendly and deals with customers directly. They seem to do a quality job, and have told me on several occasions not to waste money fixing things that don't need to be fixed. One time there was a pipe making a lot of noise and he told me it wasn't cosmetic and he took it off instead of trying to order a new part and make me pay to install it. I think they are a little bit expensive, but it's nice to know I can trust him.
