Puccio Electric

The job went great. The original wiring wasn't as bad as we thought it might be so they completed everything in half the time and it cost half the quoted price. The guys were great, helpful, always wore their masks (as I was working from home) and did a great job! Very happy.

The owner John Puccio answered my phone call at 8:30 AM. He had experienced this type of thing before and knew the proper steps necessary to expedite this process and restore the power asap. Although already committed to other projects John made this a priority and rallied his team. A co-worker of John's arrived shortly after my initial call to assess the damage. He was friendly professional and answered all of my questions. There were some upgrades needed which I hadn't expected to bring things up to code but I received a fair itemized estimate in hand by noon that day and John's team arrived with materials and permits in hand the next day, Friday at 8:00AM. They began to work immediately. By 4:00PM that afternoon the work had been completed, inspected by the city and the power company had the new wires in place. We had our power restored in record time thanks to John and his team's expertise.

Puccio's work went great.  I went through nearby electricians on Angie's List; it was the middle of the day and many providers didn't have an available nearby crew, and Puccio was the first one that did.  They arrived quickly, and did the work for 2/3 of the estimate cost after determining that most of the materials could be salvaged.  They got permits lined up without a hitch, and got a city inspector to inspect on short notice.  In sum, they busted their butts to try to get me power by the end of the day. 
Unfortunately, Eversource later claimed the city inspector didn't call them, so they didn't send a truck to finish reconnecting the electricity, and I couldn't get hold of anyone at Eversource to find out what the problem was until the next morning.  Then I called Puccio and they got the inspection taken care of and got an Eversource truck there within an hour.
Puccio explained to me that their standard procedure is to not leave the site until they've heard the city inspector on the phone with Eversource and confirm that everything is set, so Eversource dropped the ball.  I believe this is what happened, and I don't fault Puccio for what happened.  Bottom line is, both times I called Puccio, they responded quickly and got things done.

The guys were very professional and there when they said they would be (which is rare with the trades). They are very customer focused.
