OMEGA PAINTING

Tony had painted my house last summer, doing a great job. Last week, a bird found an opening between two second floor shingles, and pecked a deep hole, with insulation coming out. Tony agreed to come by that week and fix the hole (it needed a steep ladder) He repaired the hole, nailed on a new shingle, and painted it with leftover paint he had given me last year. He declined payment, saying it was "on the house". He has painted my home twice, and is a thorough, talented man who employs a hardworking crew of assistants. Highly recommended!

This was the 2nd time I had Omega paint my house.  

Tony gave me a prompt estimate and his pricing was very competitive.

Tony owns Omega... and he is actually on the job working right along side another painter.

He showed up exactly when he said he would and continued each day until the Job was completed.

He was very courteous and professional and did a very nice, clean job..

He is available; he answers his phone or he gets back to you. He is very professional, very capable, very thorough and reasonably priced.

Tony is a really friendly guy, and he is pretty laid back. He provided a free estimate, then after I hired him, it took a while to get the completed contract back in the mail. The exact starting date was always a bit fuzzy, but he did call me early in the week that they wanted to start painting.

Tony came with a crew of about 2-3 guys, and they had all the necessary ladders, drop cloths and equipment with them. The workers were courteous and got to work by around 7-8AM on the days they came. They were always gone by 5:30PM when I came home. They did a decent job of cleaning up when they were done, putting things out of the way, but there were a lot of paint chips around the perimeter of the house once they were done, b/c of the scraping. I simply used a shop vac to pick those up. Overall, the job took about 4 actual days of work.

When I asked Tony about painting some extra things that were not in the original contract, he was always agreeable and did it right away. He didn't want to talk about money until afterwards, but what he charged seemed fair.

Tony only uses Benjamin Moore paints, and he tints the primer so that he doesn't need to do two coats on top of it to get the desired color. The paint job itself looks great, and they did everything with hand brushes, so the detail is very good. We've gotten a lot of compliments!

Tony and his crew are TERRIFIC! We started the process by calling Tony in the winter (January, I think). We left a message on his business phone, and he called us back within a few days, even though he was in Greece on vacation! We agreed to talk again in March when he was back in Boston. In March, Tony visited our house, listened to what we wanted done, explained what he would do, and answered all of our questions. He was very polite, friendly and professional. We received his estimate within a week. His estimate was less than half of what other companies had quoted us ($4K vs. $10K-12K). We checked Tony's references and everyone said great things about him, his team and their work. We decided to hire Omega to paint our house.

The work was originally scheduled to start in late May, but because of the wet weather, painting began in early June instead. Tony communicated with us constantly to let us know when he would start the job. Once they started, it took them a little over 1 week to complete everything (rain interrupted the process). The team was very thorough, professional, punctual, and respectful. Our house looks great.
