They are definitely pros. He came to my house and looked around the roof to diagnose the issues, gave quotes, and also gave advice of how to proceed even if we end up not using his service. I don't sense any pushiness from his part. When we scheduled to come and do the word, the Covid19 lockdown began, so he asked to postpone it. To me it says that they're professionals who also care about their own well being as well as ours. After a couple weeks, he asked if he could come and complete the work, and not having any contact with me at all. I just made the payment in check and put it in the mailbox, but other than that we just communicated across the window. So far, the roofing looked excellent, and the leak has stopped even during the rainy nights last few weeks. A++ definitely would hire again.

Medel was timely and responsive, the work was high quality, and their rates were very competitive...we have already consulted with them about other jobs we're looking to plan, and will definitely use them for work in the future.

Medel from Mirandas Contracting was fantastic. I could not ask for a better working relationship with a contractor. He shows up when he says he is going to show up. He will go beyond what was quoted to get the work done right and cleans up after his work is done. He can act as GC and brings in high quality contractors to help with everything from paint, tile, closets etc. Highly recommend Mirandas Contracting.

It went very well. They were easy to work with and they did a great job. I would recommend them.

The wind from a recent storm blew off the metal covering of the barge board at the gable of our house. Replacing it was a fairly small job, but required several tall ladders to reach the repair area at the gable end of a three story two family. Mirandas Contracting was able to come out within a week of contacting them. I appreciate their ability to come out for such a small job on short notice. They did a great job repairing the metal barge board covering; the quality of the work is much better than what was there. I shouldn't have to worry about it blowing off in a strong storm. When they left, my Halloween yard decorations and outdoor furniture were returned to their previous spots and the job site was cleaned up. I would hire Mirandas Contracting again.

It was an amazing experience and transformation. Good communication and attention to detail. They worked within my budget and made suggestions that saved me money and improved the project significantly. They worked hard and kept the area around my home as clean as possible at the end of each day. They were consistently present and the project was completed in a short time. They installed hardy board siding (after filling in the gaps around the windows), rebuilt my front and side stairs using composite material, and enclosed my old porch to create a beautiful 3 season sunroom. Highly recommend them.

Mirandas Contracting is a talented group of skilled, versatile and thoughtful workers. Over the years, the Miranda's have built many complicated, ground up new construction buildings for me in the Cambridge/Somerville area, to the highest level of quality. They are well seasoned in framing, siding, roofing, kitchen / bathroom remodeling and finish carpentry. They're also great at diagnosing and fixing issues with old buildings. An A+ team of guys that you can rely on!

This is our third time hiring Miranda's Contracting Inc. We first renovated/extended our decks on both floors. Second hire was to renovate the bathroom on our rental and this year we renovated the exterior of the house completely from roof to front porch that was bowing from not having enough support beam which Medel knew ahead of time before demolition. They are prompt with scheduling and estimate on cost and finishing time were closer than most contractors. We will definitely hire them again for our next project.
