This was a DISASTER. We hired Jaime a couple years ago for a kitchen renovation and it came out nicely. I will admit, his communication was poor back then but at least the finished product looked nice. When we moved into our new condo, we hired him to install wood floors, a backsplash, and do interior painting, and it has been nothing short of a huge mistake. He doesn't show up when he says, doesn't return calls or texts, and the work is sloppy! Our backsplash is one inch off from wall to wall, and it took TWO MONTHS to complete it. He was scheduled to come complete an interior paint job that he started and just NEVER SHOWED UP. We are certainly moving on and I urge you not to hire this guy. He is charming and gives low quotes but he is VERY hit or miss.

What a disaster. Jaime Mota had previously worked on my home and I trusted him to install a 1/2 bath upstairs in my house. He began in December and now, 9 months later, the project is not finished and was not done to code. He stopped answering texts and voicemails. There is no finished bathroom and gouged my hardwood floors, scratched furniture and has left me with a mess that is going to cost $13,678 to repair. The plumber he brought had no permits and the entire project was illegal. He refuses to refund any of the money I paid him and I am taking him to court.

We couldn't have been more pleased. He was punctual, very professional and super-neat. I think his price was very fair and I would have no hesitation hiring him again.

Working with Jaime and his team is a pleasure.   I've worked with a number of contractors now and Jaime's team stands out because of their high quality work and their very "client first" approach.  He provided guidance when questions came up and was flexible when we encountered a few surprises.  
But most importantly, throughout the project, I felt that we were working together and on the same team.  He worked fast, but he was not there to get it done and then rush off to the next job.  His team took pride in each part being done well before calling it "complete."  
The house was being fixed up for renting, and they stayed late on several evenings to ensure that the work was done on time - even though, a few of the tasks were tacked on as new work part way through the project.  Going forward, I will definitely call Jaime again for additional house repairs or painting in the future.

Mota did an excellent job from start to finish. Crew was courteous and responsive to questions. Excellent craftsmanship on entire project, which was particularly evident in finish of corner boards and windows and garage door trim.  Cleanup was decent, though some small debris / used materials left behind.  We supplied materials, so price is for labor only.

The price was very reasonable. They were wonderful. Jamie Mota owns it and he is a wonderful person. His crew was terrific. They seemed honest, trustworthy and hard working. I can't say enough about them. I did not mind having them in my home for several weeks. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. He called if he wasn't able to make it for some reason. They were just my favorite. They were the best.

Jamie Mota was recommended by a friend. He responded promptly to my call. He was dependable and his work was excellent. He is an honest and conscientious worker. I've used him for several large painting jobs. He is honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend him!
