The crew showed up on time. Very nice and professional. They did a terrific job. Originally told the job may take 3 days, but they were done in a day in a half. I would hire this company again.

Joseph was amazing! I called him a week ago, he setup a time to check out the job the next day (Friday). I had severely damaged plaster on a bedroom ceiling from a prior leak. I told him I would moving in the following Friday and we would just need to cover the furniture when they came to redo the ceiling. He suggested he might be able to squeeze me in before I moved so the furniture would be out of the way! They showed up exactly on time the day before my move and completed the job in record time (4.5 hours). Not only that, they put down paper to protect the floor and plastic to cover all the windows and doors. Took everything when they left and they place looks brand new. Amazing! I highly recommend!

We had air conditioning work done this past summer at which time the crew discovered that a bathroom ceiling A/C register was not connected to ductwork at all!?? Evidently some kind of original air conditioning installation mistake was covered up by installing a register in the ceiling and walking away.. We removed the non-functioning register and selected Goodfellas Plastering to come and patch the hole in the ceiling. An assistant came to do the work which was beautifully done. Perhaps the ceiling would have to be painted later but that turned out to be unnecessary once the plaster had completely dried, leaving a smooth, uniformly colored ceiling to all but a very close inspection. Maybe paint later but for now everything is fine.

Joe responded immediately to my request. I sent him photos of the hole in the ceiling, and based on that he assessed that it could be patched with plaster. The job was performed within 5 business days of my request. The ceiling looks great, and the plasterer did a great job cleaning up the mess from the collapsed ceiling!

It went great. I wish we had done it years ago. Joe's team was on time, efficient, responsive and the end result looks beautiful.

I contacted several plastering companies and left voicemail. Joe called me back within ten minutes. He asked me to describe what I wanted done. Two days later he came out to price the job. He gave me an estimate and a time frame for the work to be completed. As I mentioned, the scope of work here was relatively small and I was told he would get me on the calendar in between some larger jobs. Joe kept me in the loop and within two weeks the work was completed. The workers were excellent. They covered the floors in every room they worked and even took their shoes off in our house. Every area was cleaned up before they left. The finished work was top-notch and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

We were told by multiple contractors that patching plaster would be inadequate. That, a full ceiling replacement was mandatory. With Goodfellas, the patch / repair price was too good to pass up. Once painted, we can't even tell it was a patch job.

Changes we made to our warm air ductwork left us with four sizable holes in our walls where vents had been deactivated. Joe of Goodfellas gave us a prompt and very fair estimate for the patching and plastering of these holes. He kept us fully informed of our prospective work date. His crew arrived early and promptly completed the work. They laid out runners and drop cloths to cover the entire work area and left our home cleaner than it was when they arrived. It was a very professional operation throughout.

My experience with Goodfellas was great. Joe responded right away and let me know when he would be able to come out to take a look. We were renovating our condo and were running out of time. The walls in our living room had had wood paneling on the bottom half of the walls and textured plaster on the top as well as lots of places where the drywall needed to be patched. We had taken down the paneling and I wanted to get rid of the texture on the walls. While we were at it the ceiling was popcorn and painted over with holes from faux beams that were taken down that I wanted to cover up. Joe came out on Tuesday morning looked at the the room and gave us a quote right then and there. He said they would be able to come out and get the room done the NEXT DAY! They were by far the cheapest (we had 3 other quotes) and they were able to get it done right away. There was one tough spot by the windows that needed a little extra attention and when I let Joe know, he was able to get someone out the next day to smooth it over. The room came out great, it was exactly what I was looking for.  I would definitely call them again if I need more work done and I would recommend them to anyone.

GPSI responded to our call for an estimate within a day.  We had ice dam damage to the north facing side of our home and the insurance appraisal indicated that we needed some extensive renovations and repair.  Joe, the owner, came in and began the process of putting together an estimate for us and quickly realized that we would need a supplemental claim to cover damages that were unforeseen in the original insurance appraisal.  Joe went ahead and advocated for us and the supplemental funds were granted. 

His crew began within a few weeks, starting with the bedrooms on the second floor.  Being a 91 year old home with small bedrooms it was difficult to empty all of them at once.  GPSI came in and helped with emptying a room at a time, completing it and moved on to the next. The demo and plastering of the bedrooms was done within a week or two.  The crew were spotless and the work was meticulous.  Always paying attention to detail.  The owner made it a point to call, text and stop by at least once or twice a day for the duration of the project.

 Next, work began on our dining room which once they started the demo we realized the inside of the walls was still damp.  The ice dams were especially tough outside that wall so once opened the studs needed to dry out..  At this point, not to let the project stop they started on our kitchen which needed to be plastered and painted also. Then moved onto the garage which had to be gutted and re-plastered.  Then back to the dining room. 

The final step was to demo and rehab a 3 seasons sunporch that is the entry to our home.  With Joe's suggestions and following the insurance appraisers figures, GPSI demoed the entire room, installed porcelain tile on the floor, sheet rocked and plastered all the walls and added all new trim and finished with a beautiful tongue and groove natural wood ceiling.  It is awesome!

From the demo, plastering, tile floor install, painting, and carpentry the work is done professionally and with care. It was a wonderful experience working with GPSI and we will use them exclusively for any other home improvements we may need in the future.  We highly recommend them!!!

He was dependable and very responsible. Pricing was reasonable and if the snow is really high, he would come more than once. He would come in the morning so we could go for work and would also turn up in the evening when the snow has piled up.

They were very professional and very straightforward. They had a full crew of three working on it which made it go real quick. They were done in half a day. It was a small room but on the other hand, with the rate people are going, I was not surprised it was half a day. I particularly liked his detailing. He proposed a lot of details to me that I never thought about. I was able to consider and make a decision on it which was very nice. They left the area amazingly clean. They spent a good half our setting up, laying down paper and this, that and the other things so that the clean up will go quickly. It went quickly but then they get a vacuum to finish it up. I'm very pleased with that part. I could have done it cheaper but I like his professionalism. I'm planning to use him again. I've got some more rooms I want to do.

Joe was great to work with he gave us an estimate over the phone. He asked us to take a picture and got back to us within a couple of hours. He sent a text letting us know of the approximate time of his guys arrival..... They were prompt, courteous and best of all the job was 'perfection.' Eddie is one talented guy.....you cannot tell where the new ceiling begins or ends. They put up plastic & vacuumed after. I highly recommend them. Also, they hauled away all the debris and I understand they're expanding into demolition and debris removal. Thanks Joe and Eddie ?

Excellent work. Had to blend in new sections with existing walls. Eddy is the best, and his crew makes it look easy. Their approach - blueboard and plaster - means that a small project like mine can be done in a day, unlike sheetrock and tape, which requires first taping, then multiple coats of compound and sanding to cover and smooth out the sections. I highly recommend Goodfellas.

It was awesome, he did a great job. He was reasonably priced and showed up on time. He had good suggestions to help us as well.

I was pleased to get Joe on the phone right away (no phone tag, yay!). I described the situation and after asking several questions to clarify, he gave me a quote right over the phone. The price was excellent. Joe said he'd be in touch within two weeks to schedule the work, and he was right on time. His team alerted me to delayed arrival due to traffic, and were otherwise pleasant and professional. The work was done well?can't tell it was ever damaged?and the clean up was thorough.
