Apartments
Ed Accomando and John Veneziano brought us a tenant and represented to us that he had "good credit and excellent references, " and was moving because the house he lived in had been sold. The tenant lived in the apartment for seven months but paid rent for only two months. The truth is that Ed and John lied to us. The tenant had been evicted from his previous residence two days before Ed and John brought him to us, and was heavily in debt. Ed and John did not do what their real estate license requires such as credit and reference checks and their lack of due diligence cost me five months' lost rent and expensive eviction proceedings totaling more than $20,000.
