The installation went fine. I have not towed anything, nor tested the trailer brake light wiring, but have no reason to suspect a problem. I first went to the u-haul website to enter my vehicle details to get a price including installation. The website gave me a total of $200. I've included a screen capture of it. I decided to call to make an appointment instead of thru the website. When I did, I was told the total price would be $259. When I said that the website gave a lower price, the u-haul rep said to check that the install labor was included. I checked and in fact, although the installation was mentioned, no price was given. Although I found this annoying, I went ahead and scheduled the work with the understanding that I would pay $259. When the work was completed and it was time to pay, I was told that the price was $300. When I them that the price quoted on the phone was $259, they said that additional parts were required. They did not tell me this prior to completing the job. They would not honor the price quoted over the phone.
