Thank you for reading my introduction! I have over 14 years of experience in the Greater Boston area, working on an exclusive basis with either home buyers OR sellers, helping them be successful in what is probably their biggest financial decision: buying or selling a home. • I work with you from day one, through every step of your transaction to closing and even beyond closing, as a valuable resource for the challenges you may face as a homeowner in the future. My goal is to have a happy client at the end of each transaction. I pride myself on giving straight forward, objective advice. My business is built on building long-term relationships with my clients. Many of my clients have bought or sold several homes with me. Unlike agents who only work with buyers, I feel it is an advantage to have experience as both a buyer’s agent AND a seller’s agent. This allows me to give you important insights from a buyers and sellers perspective. If you are buying, you may one day want to sell. If you are selling, you may want to buy another property. I have experience with both of these types of transactions. • I can also provide recommendations for attorneys, mortgage brokers, home inspectors and other vendors you may need to complete your transaction. • My focus includes Boston, Back Bay, Cambridge, Brookline, Coolidge Corner, Newton, Somerville, Davis Sq., Arlington, Belmont, Brighton, Lexington, Lincoln and surrounding areas. Alan was extremely helpful in the purchase of our first home. He worked with us for months to navigate an extremely competitive market, and stuck with us from our first open house all the way through the closing process. Alan is honest, trustworthy, and always had our best interests in mind. He’d tell us when a home was overpriced or not in good shape, pointing out things that we may have otherwise overlooked in our desperation to buy by a certain date. We would highly recommend Alan to anyone looking to purchase a home.

After sending a blind email to the sellers agent of a condo in Brookline, Alan instantly responded with a phone call and email. For the next year Alan would deal with my inconsistent responses to emails, erratic changes in home preferences, and complete disappearance from the city of Boston for many months. Somehow he found the mental fortitude to stick with me, and remained patient as I sent endless requests to view units all over the city.
Thanks to the instant updates from Alan's targetting MLS system, I was alerted of a unit near the airport which perfectly matched my weekly jetsetting lifestyle. Within one month of the bank accepting my offer, I was handed the keys to my new home.
I am not one to normally like "packaged deals", but Alan's group of lawyers and mortgage specialists efficiently processed all of my paperwork and turned what would normally be a stressful event into an inexpensive, non-issue. He was able to keep all lines of communication open during the transaction, and walked me through all of the difficult steps. Who would have thought it would be possible to close on a foreclosure within one month?
I could not be happier with the service Alan provided during my home buying transaction. I would recommend him to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

During the course of perhaps our biggest financial transaction, Alan went above and beyond to helped us tremendously by guiding us to the right direction. From the open houses to the closing, he was there for us every step of the way (at our convenience).Not only was he an expert at his trade with over 10+ years of experience, he was on top of everything during the whole process and helped us understand the quirk of real estate transactions. His pricing strategy and research also helped us great deal on both the sale (sold in the first day!) and the purchase (was able to negotiate on the fair price on the first day).I strongly recommend Alan as a real estate broker and will definitely use him again in the future transaction.

We first met Alan over 5 years ago when we walked into an open house in Brookline. We had just started looking to buy our first home around that time. Alan was really personable and professional and not pushy at all. Both my husband and I immediately liked him and we decided to have Alan become our exclusive realtor. It took us over 3 years from that initial meeting and seeing over 50 different properties until we found the house that was right for us. During that time, Alan never gave up on us and more importantly never tried to “make any sale” for his benefit. He listened to what we liked and didn’t like in a home and tailored our searches accordingly. When we finally saw the house we knew would be it, Alan was very efficient and effective in getting things done. His referrals to a mortgage broker and real estate attorney were equally impressive. He was actively involved in the entire process from offer acceptance until the closing. He was always available and very responsive to our questions and concerns.
