Window Service
The work was carefully and cheerfully completed. These are people who are proud of their services and the work shows it. He has been back to replace a window that was a defective or damaged in shipping. We are recommending that our daughter use Steve when she puts windows in.

The serviceman, whom I understood to be the owner, showed up with only the previous notice of "he would try to get to the house sometime in the next two days". He then said, "I only have 5 minutes, so can you show me what you need?" He wandered around the house, showing little interest in the details of the job, shaking his head as if it was all a very serious problem (nothing was urgent or serious). Then he said he'd call the next week, and I never heard from him ever again.

"WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE MEMBER ASKING FOR SOME INFORMATION ABOUT HIS SKYLIGHTS. WE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR 8:00 A.M. ON A THURSDAY MORN IN JULY 2006. WE SCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT WITH THE MRS. I WENT TO THE HOME AND WAS INFORMED THEY WERE JUST MOVING IN. EXCUSE THE MESS. THE ISSUE WAS SKYLIGHTS. HE KEPT TELLING ME IT WAS NO BIG DEAL HE COULD GET THE PARTS ELSEWHERE IF I WAS NOT INTERESTED. AND I TOLD HIM I WOULD SEE IF I COULD HELP HIM. I NEVER LEFT THE ONE ROOM IN THE HOUSE ( REAR FAMILY ROOM ) I GOT ON A LADDER AND LOOKED FOR THE INFORMATION ON THE SKYLIGHTS. I ALSO LOOKED AT HIS CASEMENT WINDOWS. THIS WAS NOT A SITE VISIT FOR REPLACEMENT WINDOWS. IT WAS AN REQUEST FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR SOME VERY OLD PRODUCT. THE FACT THAT I WAS WILLING TO GO TO THE SITE @ NO CHARGE IS A PLUS TO THE HOMEOWNER. I DID MAIL OUT SOME INFO AND NEVER HEARD BACK."
