I would HIGHLY recommend John! We recently moved in to an older house that desperately needed new windows. I called John because I had heard wonderful things from family and friends who have used him in the past. John made the entire experience easy and I am truly grateful for his professionalism and responsiveness throughout the process. He answers emails within the hour and he communicates everything very clearly. Our new windows are PERFECT - his work is extremely high quality. I can tell he takes pride in his work and it shows. I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience!

I can not praise John and his crew enough. From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. John was the best communicator I have ever experienced when working with a contractor. He and his crew were always punctual, professional, easy going ever ready bunnies that kept on going. The work they put out was exceptional that other contractors who have been to my home comment on what a thorough and meticulous job John and his guys had done. If you are looking to get windows or siding done call John first, you won't regret it!

From start to finish , it was an easy process and the final product is absolutely beautiful. We are so pleased. John and his crew are personable, prompt, and their skills are beyond what we hoped for.

J Foster did a fantastic job with replacing the windows in our home.  The project had some slights delays because of backlog of orders at the factory - but John kept us up to date every step of the way!  John even worked with the town building inspect to secure the building permit - some of the other vendors told us that we would need to secure the building permits...

We are planning on replacing several additional windows and will most definitely use J Foster.

We bought a home that had all of the original spec windows from when it was built in the mid-80s.  Many of the seals on the double-pane windows had broken and a fog could be seen.  We had been recommended John from a friend within Medfield who had used him for such an endeavor.
John came out and gave us a quote within 24 hours.  He primarily uses and recommends Harvey windows and gave us all of their product information.
We ended up replacing 18 standard double-hung vinyl replacement windows w/ full screens and in-glass grids, 3 smaller bathroom windows, and one special sized picture window with in-glass grids.  
John and his team came out and did the replacements over two days while we were at work and left absolutely no trace of their work.  I'd highly recommend them and we'll likely get them back for a last window in the spring.

J. Foster gave us an estimate last fall and waited for us to be ready for install. We had to do house cleaning and move furniture away
from the windows to give them room to work. (We have a small cape style house.) They gave us a date and John and his 2 workers finished all 14 windows in one day. The outside man took the old windows away and prepped the new windows for install. The inside man did the install, insulated, caulked and replaced woodwork. They worked together very efficiently and cleaned up inside and outside. Very impressed. (Had seen them work on another house before hiring them.)
J. Foster also gave us an estimate for siding. We are going to do that this year. Haven't set a date yet because we want to power-
wash the house and get rid of mold before covering with siding.

I had 100% satisfaction. They were prompt. The price is reasonable. They're courteous, knowledgeable and very professional.

He does windows, doors and siding. He is a real good guy. He is honest and does a good job. Both jobs were very good. His prices are certainly in line with anybody else and probably less than a lot of people. He installs whatever I want. I think he does all the brands. He does siding too but I have never had him do siding for my house. A lot of people in Medfield have used him. He lives in town. He has a good reputation in town of being reliable and honest. I probably will be using him in the future because I have more windows to be replaced. I definitely will be using him.

It went very well, John Foster was great to work with as were his employees. They worked efficiently and neatly and kept to the schedule. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and the cost of the job was very competitive, a great value overall!
