Greg was very professional when I spoke with him. I had called two contractors before calling Hurley-Testa but they did not show up when promised. Greg and his partner and a member of his crew showed up when promised, in a miserable sleeting rain. I would recommend them.

They also replaced a window for me. They also worked on my roof.

My house gets ice dams, something I found out in 2010, not long after buying the home. To ensure that I didn't end up with ice dams again following the Blizzard of 2013, I made some calls to field prices for snow and ice removal from my roof. I live in a single-family home, three floors. I contact a company I previously used to powerwash my home, but their price range was $800 to $1250, which was way more than I had hoped to pay.

Based on reviews and proximity to my home, I called Greg Testa. He responded to my call within an hour or so, was polite and explained that due to the storm, they were very busy. He asked me to email him my address and promised he'd take a look. That night, he emailed to explain his crew had been very busy all day and that he would do his best to look at the house the following morning.

On Tuesday, right around 8 a.m., he called me to let me know he was at my house, that the estimate was $450 to remove all snow and ice, and that he and his crew could perform the service immediately. He was aware that my mother-in-law's car was in the driveway, so he requested she move it so that no damage would occur to it. My mother-in-law said the crew was courteous and quick, completing the job in less than 2 hours.

When I arrived home, the entire roof was cleaned. His crew had also shoveled a path to my staircase leading to my back porch. The crew also cleared he entrance to my shed and cleared the roof of the shed, which I had not asked for. Needless to say, his was a very pleasant surprise. Greg also advised me later by email that someone who had previously removed ice dams from the roof had done damage to a few layers of shingles, and explained what the replacement process would be. Obviously, based on this level of service, I will certainly go to Greg and his company when I need to have those shingles replaced.

I'm not one to usually give A's across the board. I demand a high level of service. Greg and his company earned it in this case. Looking forward to doing business with him again in the future.

I contacted Hurley-Testa on February 3rd regarding removal of ice dams and accumulated snow from our roof and gutters. Since everyone in the area was in the same situation, I had a tough time getting someone to call me back, but Greg Testa took my call. Greg was courteous and realistic about their ability to get to us, and said it might be a few days. The big plus is that he took the time to explain to me on the phone how to check if our roof was being overstressed by the weight of the snow. Since I didn't observe any of the trouble signs he mentioned, I felt reassured that we were not in danger. They finally did get to us on February 9th, and did a thorough and high-quality job. Even better was that the price was a little less than what he had quoted!

With all the snow, we started to experience ice dams and water leakage inside. Called them at 8AM this morning and they were out by 11:15 with a crew ready to work. Immediate fix, get the snow and ice off. Quick, clean and professional. Doesn't address our long term issues but got us the fix we needed now so the water can drain exterior not interior. Also offer a roof cleaning service post storms as preventative maintenance so the build up won't occur again.

This company is competent and knowledgeable in what they did for me. I was comfortable having them around to do the work. I felt that I didn't have to be watching them all the time to see if they skimped on the work or tried to cut corners. They knew what they were doing and I felt comfortable with their work.
