DeVoe Designs

We recently had granite counter tops installed in our kitchen and then decided we needed an entire overhaul of the kitchen.
 I found Mike DeVoe from DeVoe designs on Angie's list. He was the first one to answer my email so we arranged a time for him to come see our kitchen and give us an estimate. He arrived on time and the minute he began to inspect our kitchen I had a feeling he was the real deal and I was right! We went over everything we wanted done and I asked his opinion on some things and I was very impressed with his suggestions. Mike is not only a contractor but a designer as well so was very helpful when I needed some guidance. We received his estimate the next day by email and found it to be fair so we hired Mike DeVoe from DeVoe designs and we could not be happier that we did. Mike proved to be knowledgeable, punctual, trustworthy, and very capable at his job. He is not only capable but he is a perfectionist who takes pride in his work. He installed our tile back splash with the precision of an artist. He also painted our kitchen and installed bead board wallpaper which is a new product that proved to be more affordable than real bead board yet looks like the real thing. I was hesitant to try it but shocked how good it looks. It really works... Mike came back the final day to do touch ups and perfect his canvas and finished up by leaving my kitchen immaculate. All I can say is thank you Angie's list for sending DeVoe Designs my way. 

Mike did the work as promised and his price was very reasonable.  He made sure the job was completely finished and that we were 100% satisfied with the workmanship and final result.

We have been 100% satisfied with all the work Mike has done and continue to recommend him to friends and neighbors.  Mike was recommended to us by the local realtor when we moved into the area.  She was right on target with giving us a professional individual that can do it all.  He has become a regular in our home and he has a great rapport with the entire family (including the pets!).  He walks you through the process and there have been no surprises.  He thinks on his feet and can easily adapt and accommodate any requests.  He is a great resource for contractors when outside of his scope and has been great to work with from a design perspective too.  He provides suggestions, samples and pictures to review and discuss.  He is very versatile and a pleasure to work with.

Our old deck was 20 years old and starting to splinter. It had to be stained every year. We wnted something that was maintainence free and would look good. Mike suggested using Trex. It looks fabulous. Mike is a perfectionist. He is professional, neat and very responsive to the client's needs. He even made us a custom gate to keep animals and young children on the deck. We are looking forward to having him replace our front door and remodel our outdated bathrooms.
