Bob pays attention to the details and doesn't do more than is necessary just to jack up the price. He assessed the situation with me and my husband on a recent Saturday morning and made his recommendations (replacing only the rotted portions rather than ripping everything out and replacing rotted wood with PVC or pressure treated wood so it wouldn't ever rot again).
He called a couple of days before to let us know he was available to start the work, then showed up promptly when he said he would. He and his assistant were finished with the repair work faster than I thought they would be! Bob stopped by later in the day to help me put the screen back in the window and to check how I liked the work. They had replaced the rotted portions, painted the new additions to match, and cleaned up so that I couldn't even tell that work had been done.
His work is excellent--the patches aren't noticeable at all from the street--and he's a pleasure to work with. This is the fourth project we've hired him for (the others were replacing an attic vent, screening off both attic vents, and hanging a gutter and downspout), and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him in the future.
