I was referred to Artisan by a friend, and after reading several positive reviews on Angie's List, I decided to try them and look at my vehicle to determine why the check engine light was on. Both Cliff and Boomer took ample time to examine the vehicle when I stopped by (without an appointment) and troubleshooted the issue. They explained what my options were, were very upfront and honest about the cost, and did not try to upsell me anything else. They also answered several other general questions about my vehicle and again did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. There were also a couple of customers who arrived while I was there and commented to me how these guys were great and how they have been using Artisan for several years. It is great to finally have a trustworthy, honest mechanic in my area and I plan to both recommended people to Artisan and use them in the future.

I had an amazing experience at this place. I have an old Subaru that had a nagging check engine light. It's past the point where costly repairs are worth it since I'll need to buy a new car soon. I was worried I would have to shell out major dollars to replace lots of parts. Instead these guys found an exhaust leak and managed to seal it up safely buying me more time to save for my next car. They are lifesavers. I got my sticker for the year and to top it off the check engine light has not come back. If you are looking for quality repair shop in the Maynard/Concord area, this is it.

I don't know why these guys don't have more raving reviews here. They were my mechanics for the 4 years I lived in Maynard (2008-2012) They went above and beyond of what I would have expected from a repair shop. They were knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. They are so good that after I moved out to North Andover I still went back to Artisan in Maynard a couple of times for oil changes. My cars worked perfectly everytime Cliff and Mathew worked on them. They worked on everything imaginable from oil changes to transmission work, brakes, tune ups, timing belt, tire installation, etc. If you live in Maynard or its sorrowndings you will not find auto repair professionals like Artisan. I only wish they move to North Andover

They are incredibly honest. They saw me right away. They run very nicely. They looked all over the car to find out if there was anything wrong before I took my trip. I bought a used car and I thought that the person who sold it to me said that it had an extended warranty and they looked it up and they said that it doesn't have an extended warranty and that it has been considered totaled. They told me what to do because they are caring people. They checked to see if my car had a bent frame. My fan isn't acting right and they told me to get it fixed before it gets really cold and I'm going to have them replace it.
