Melissa, our designer was amazing. She had a great attitude and was easy to work with. She helped us design the exact kitchen we wanted showing us all the different options available to us. She was also very upfront about pricing. Steven, our Program Manger was really great to work with. He cares a lot about the client's experience and satisfaction. He was very professional. He did a great job managing the different trades and responded to issues right away. Our carpenters, Kevin, Matt, and John were very professional. They had good craftsmanship and provided their professional expertise. They showed up consistently and did the job in a timely manner.

We worked with Malaika Minor on a kitchen renovation project, including the overall layout, cabinet selection and finishes. Malaika offered excellent recommendations and made several tweaks to help us stay within our budget while ensuring that we got the features, quality and look we wanted. She got back to us promptly and made sure we got our cabinets on schedule (no small feat with the current supply chain and labor shortages). It can be daunting purchasing something as expensive as cabinets, but Malaika made the process stress-free and fun. We recommend Norfolk and Malaika, specifically, to anyone looking for a kitchen designer.

From the very onset I developed a great deal of trust in NK&B based on the people who helped bring my renovation project to fruition. My Project Designer (and early project facilitator), Malaika, has a strong sense of style and was able to guide my selections of cabinets, flooring, and accents. She guided me through choices that were in my financial comfort zone. The new extended and widened kitchen peninsula is my dream pasta making counter; the subtle, gray-veined quartz countertops take the design to another higher level. Malaika helped me choose a floor covering that is perfect for my sunny and large multi-room kitchen space. The project management under Dean and Jason really confirmed my belief that NK&B is a reliable, competent, and timely working organization. My circumstances were such that I couldn’t be at home for most of the construction, and yet through phone and texts, I was able to stay abreast of the construction. They were terrific at keeping me informed of the ongoing status of the project. Project management selected competent sub-contractors where necessary. I am very satisfied with the cost and quality of the entire project. It helps to have a good understanding of desired outcomes and likely outlays. NK&B Project Estimator, Dave, did not low-ball the work estimate. He was thorough in his assessment of the needed work. The final walk-through punch list was completed efficiently and with great accommodation. When I returned to Boston after my extended family leave, it was like walking into a new place! I’ve lived here for thirty years but my “retirement nest” couldn’t be more beautiful. NK&B is the real deal! They might not be the biggest in Boston, but trust me, they are one of the best! Quite simply, I cannot say enough good things about Kitchen Designer Merry Ao from the Boston location of Norfolk Kitchen and Bath. Merry is an amazing Kitchen Designer. She understand the technical aspects of design from knowing how to make the most out of space, what cost and quality trade-offs are appropriate, to what cabinets will work the best. In addition, Merry has a great eye, She understands the finer points of making a kitchen beautiful. My cabinets are now ordered, and will be installed in the New Year. Merry continues to help me and guide me in additional purchases that will work well in my new kitchen.

Went horrible. How do you send 4 Cabinets out of 7 that were the wrong cabinet, wrong color, and wrong style. The sales rep John in Nashua helped me place the order. He messed it up! I asked for 3/4" finished fridge panels and got 3/8" unfinished panels with face frames. When I called John he told me," oh it's not that much more work." That was the worst response I ever recieved from a supplier. Who's paying for the extra work? Not Norfolk. In short, I been in business for 20+ years and my experience with this company has me telling all my clients to stay away from them. Terrible. John the sales guy was ignorant, arrogant and was so quick to blab he had a plastering company. No wonder he's not in business any longer. Sad Norfolk hires these types. Was not until I refused to deal with John any longer that Norfolk sent the proper cabinets but the other materials I was stuck with because his job was not done properly. Buyer beware of this company! Too much money for advertising! Because they are charging too much and quietly taking advantage of people who need a showroom to look at. Find another kitchen company!

I was look to do a kitchen remodel. On my first visit to the store there was no one to help out so I made an appointment. Still had to wait around for service. The price they advertise doesn't include labor. I had two people come out to estimate because the first one didn't get all the information. Plans were redone because they didn't listen to me. It was a hot mess. And what they wanted to do the job was crazy expensive. If you're looking for a kitchen with all the bells and whistles then maybe this is a good place to go, maybe. But if you're not looking to spend $40,000+ they're not interested.

It went very well.

From day one we found the employees very professional. The woman who assisted us with design and planning just seemed to know what we had in mind, which made decision-making quitDid a good job preparing for demolition. Had various trades people on site as necessary and on time. Slowed down while waiting for town inspections. Good communication skills, telling us what would happen and when. Advised us when we were concerned about decisions. When we were unhappy about something done or not done, they went out of their way to explain their decisions, and also went all out to be sure we were happy with work, even if it meant taking something apart and re-doing it. Never tried to blame us for anything or refuse to hear our side of things. A few extra charges were added when we added something to original contract, but those prices were fair according to going rates.

We were satisfied with them. They subcontracted our countertop that we had a bad experience with but overall, they were really good. Their design services were good and their price as far as cabinetry was good. The workmanship was excellent. We would possibly use them again in the future.

Not completely sure about price but it did seem like a lot of money for only two cabinets. Order took about what was quoted (4 weeks) and the delivery went fine.
The cabinets seem to be of reasonable quality but there is one small section of the toilet topper that was not painted properly. Unfortunately, it took several days for the representatives to get back in touch with us, and it has been several weeks and we still have not received the touch-up paint we requested.

I did not have to stay at home and wait for the contractors to come. They coordinated a lot and that made life a lot easier for us. I did not dislike anything about them. I am planning on using them to do another job for me.

Their original estimate was $32,000 but we added on some extra things. Their workers were really professional. They did some great work so their craftsmanship was really good. They were responsive to our requests. We would absolutely use them again.

I would highly recommend them. They did the design of the kitchen for me, which I was happy with. I thought all the workers were excellent. They were very easy to deal with and respectful. I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

It has been seven months and my kitchen is still incomplete. Cabinets had to be re-ordered due to measurement errors, the drywall/mudding sub-contractor disappeared before completing the job and I had to make multiple calls to get the plumbing lines, appliances and roof vent installed.

Eric Rainey and Linda Bate were both very responsive to our needs and concerns. Eric came out to do the measurements and the computerized mock-up. At order time, he said it would take 4 weeks for the cabinets to come, it actually only took 2 weeks! Installation took place a few days later. Linda was able to schedule installation just before Thanksgiving. As with any remodeling job there are always dilemmas to be solved and they both really went out of their way both time wise and financially to address our concerns. The granite countertops where done through a granite fabricator in Milford, we went out to choose the specific piece/shade of granite for us. For those considering natural stone, it makes such a big difference to choose what YOU like because of the variability. They even let us select a piece of granite already reserved for a condo complex. I am recommending Norfolk to one of my friends living in the same complex. These are my words and I stand by them.

This job was performed extremely well. The plumber arrived right on time, was very friendly, informative and professional, and did a fine job. I will certainly call them again.

We would highly recommend Norfolk Factory Direct to anyone who is remodeling a kitchen. Out of the 4 quotes we got for semi-custom cabinets, they by far were the best in terms of quality of product, response and attention to the customer, and just really going out of their way. Its been a pleasure to work with their whole team: Kathryn, Kelly and Linda.

HE WAS EXTREMELY PATIENT AND GENEROUS WITH HIS TIME, AND CONTINUALLY EXAMINED ALL DETAILS TO MAKE SURE WE HAD THE BEST DESIGN POSSIBLE. HE HELPED US SELECT THE BEST CABINETS AVAILABLE FOR OUR PRICE RANGE, AND STAYED IN TOUCH WITH US DURING THE ENTIRE PROCESS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER. BOB REFERRED US TO AN APPLIANCE STORE THAT PROVIDED QUALITY APPLIANCES AT A GOOD PRICE, AND HE ALSO ARRANGED FOR INSTALLATION OF THE CABINETS. THE INSTALLER DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. WE HAVE ALREADY RETURNED TO WORK WITH BOB ON ANOTHER PROJECT, AND PLAN ON RETURNING TO SEE BOB WHENEVER WE NEED HIS SERVICES.

THE EMPLOYEES AT NORFOLK HARDWARE ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. WHEN I HAD DIFFICULTY STARTING IT, THE EMPLOYEE AT NORFOLK HARDWARE HAD ME BRING IT DOWN AND DEMONSTRATED IT FOR ME. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL OCCASSIONS WHEN THEY HAVE ASSISTED ME WITH USING POWER EQUIPMENT. THEY ARE MUCH MORE HELPFUL THAT LARGER COMPETITOR.

HELPFUL IN STORE, BUT LATE IN DELIVERY DESPITE A PROMISED DATE. QUALITY OF WORK WAS GOOD.
