It went good but very expensive $110 just to show up and then charged for labor. Most companies I deal with subtract the labor from the service call charge.

FOR HIDDEN FEES AND SHODDY WORKMANSHIP - CALL CAPE COD APPLIANCE SERVICE IN MASHPEE.
LAST NOVEMBER I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE RUBBER GASKET ON MY WASHING MACHINE. CC APPLIANCE SVC HAD AN AD THAT THEIR SERVICE CHARGE WAS $99. I CALLED THEM AND TOLD THEM THAT I NEEDED A NEW GASKET AND THEY CAME WITHIN A WEEK. THE COST FOR THE GASKET WAS $100 THAT I KNEW FROM MY INITIAL PHONE CALL. THE TECH CAME, INSTALLED THE GASKET AND HANDED ME A BILL WITH AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $45. I ASKED WHAT IT WAS FOR AND HE SAID and quot;TECHNICAL SERVICE TIME.and quot; ONE WOULD THINK THAT THE $99 SERVICE CHARGE WOULD INCLUDE and quot;TECHNICAL SERVICE TIMEand quot; BUT APPARENTLY NOT. THE TOTAL CHARGE FOR REPLACING ONE RUBBER GASKEY WAS $250.25, INCLUDING TAX.
8 1/2 MONTHS LATER, THE GASKET FELL OFF THE MACHINE. I CALLED THEM AND THEY CAME WITHIN A WEEK TO PUT IT BACK ON. IT WASN'T DAMAGED, JUST FELL OFF. THEY CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL $100 TO PUT BACK ON THE GASKET THEY HAD INSTALLED JUST 8 1/2 MONTHS EARLIER. I WAS TOLD THAT THE WORK IS ONLY GUARANTEED FOR 90 DAYS. I HAD THE MACHINE FOR 5 YEARS PRIIOR TO REPLACING THE GASKET BECAUSE THE RUBBER HAD DETERIORATED OVER THE YEARS AND IT NEVER FELL OFF. IT IS SECURED BY A METAL RING THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED BY CC APPLIANCE SVC WHEN THEY INITIALLY REPLACED THE GASKET.
IMAGINE GOING TO THE BODY SHOP AND HAVING YOUR CAR REPAIRED THEN THE BUMPER FALLS OFF 8 1/2 MONTHS LATER. WOULD THE BODY SHOP PUT IT BACK ON FOR FREE OR CHARGE YOU?

I had a 2 year old GE Profile Refrigerator, the solenoid that controlled the water shut off for the ice maker gave out.
Had to order a new solenoid and replaced the old one. Was told that part was not covered by warranty and was a usual thing for this type of refrigerator,

The repairman was called and showed up when he was supposed to. He examined our ice maker in our refrigerator and determined what parts were broken. He called a rep from the refrigerator manufacturer and actually saved us money! He will return to our home when the part comes in.

The initial service call was to repair the gas stove and, latterly, to
find and fix what seemed to be a small gas leak. Part A was done on the
initial visit, and the cause of the gas leak was identified and the
needed part ordered. Second visit installed the part to fix the gas
leak and, as arranged by phone prior, a diagnosis of the ailing
dishwasher was made. All was accomplished quickly and professionally.
These folks are not cheap, but can provide same day service and are good
at what they do. Polite and easy to work with too.

They replaced two thermostats on a commercial oven. Diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered parts, called to schedule installation of parts and came as scheduled.

They were fantastic. They were great. They were excellent and responded within a day or so. They took care of the problem right away. They took care of the warranty issue directly with the manufacturer and we didn't have to do anything.

During the hurricaine that we had we lost power and it tore up my microwave. The technician came out and said that the new board had been tore up with the power outage. He informed me that the new board wasn't worth the price. It was going to be too expensive to buy a new one.

They came out first to look at it and they charged $140 for that. Then they came out to repair and they charged $263 for repairing it. They were fine. I thought they were a little high priced for just coming out and taking a look at it. I have not had such work done before so I don't know whether it is a standard charge or not. I would recommend them to anyone. I also asked them to take a look at the washing machine which wasn't working and I thought he was honest in telling me that the transistor which was gone is not worth putting the money and to get another one. I thought $140 for coming out to just look at the machine was excessive. The quality of work was excellent, he was on time and was professional.
