Initially it went ok and he came out, gave me a quote for the job, took the deposit and we signed the contract. There was some delay in starting the job but he assured me it would be completed and up to code for a residential installation. I was away and was only able to inspect after the job was done and paid for. I found that there was no railing which is required, the walls did not meet the stairs and the retaining wall did not go all the way up so soil was falling onto the stairs and in a rainstorm there was a mini-mudslide. The gap between the sides of the stairs and the retaining wall was big enough to catch the heel of a woman's shoe or a small child's foot. I called Keith and we met in February 2009 at the house to go over the problem. He said it would all be fixed. It was never fixed, he never answered any of my phone calls after that day and ignored the registered letter I sent him asking when he would complete the work that was paid for. It's a safety issue and I've contracted with another company to fix the problem at an additional cost of over 3000.00 I would never recommend Keith or Patriot Landscape to anyone.
