They did the job, but when I scheduled the appointment--they came out to the house and charged $89 to take a look at the work that needed to be done. They then had to come back two weeks later to wall mount the TV above our mantle. They charged $578.20 to mount the TV, which seems to be an extremely excessive high price, especially considering that there was already a wire behind the TV that they were able to connect to. I was not told when I made the appointment to do the work that they would charge us to take a look at the job. And the $578.20 charged for the half hour job is exorbitant. And we had provided the TV mount!!! Consumer beware---We came across this bill currently while doing our taxes and wanted to let others know to find a different electrician.

"Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that you had this experience using our company and wish you would of reached out earlier with your Issues. When we had left you were happy with everything so we didn’t realize there was an issue. I just wanted to clarify a few things. You had booked an appointment online for a job, we had called and converted this to an estimate with you. We met and I provided an estimate for the Job. The estimate did include our $89 service call fee which is standard for all service calls, this wasn’t an estimate fee. You accepted the estimate a few days later, we ordered the mount and returned a couple weeks after to complete the job for you. We did add one outlet behind your TV. installed the mount we provided, and setup your TV with Roku. The electricians headed to your home at 730AM and three electricians were there working till just before 10AM. There was more to this project then a 30 minute job."

Nick was great, called right away and was able to fit me in during a busy time right before Christmas. Matt the electrician was great also, did a super job! Price was reasonable as well, I highly recommend!

Nick and Matt were faced with two unexpected problems. The light fixture replacement involved a potential fire situation. The light switch required complete rewiring. They took both problems in stride and had the job done within 1 1/2 hours. They left the work areas totally clean. In my opinion their work was excellent and I'd recommend Nick McElroy Electrician with no hesitation.

Nick got in touch with us right away and suggested another way to change the outlet by installing a Lutron wireless remote control and plug-in lamp dimmer. He was willing to stop by the house to show us the Lutron wireless to see if we would like it and if we liked it, he could install it then for us which he did. The remote control was installed where the light switch was. It looks great. It saved us half the cost of fishing a wire. Plus, you can move it to a different outlet if you want. We are very pleased with the wireless remote control and would definitely call Nick the next time we need electrical services.

Nick responded to my phone call regarding a rather minor electrical issue. He was my third call . . The first two electricians I contacted didn’t even bother to call me back. Nick promptly came by to assess the situation, obtained the necessary supplies and returned with Matt the following week to make the repair. They were both personable, efficient, neat and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend them and plan to call them for all future electrical issues!
